Castas? Nepotismo? Grana? Sorte? Qual é a alternativa?

@sleepy_devo @Sargon_of_Akkad No. I know it because some of the studies do agree with me. They all have some critical flaw and they never track long enough into the future.

@sleepy_devo @Sargon_of_Akkad "And is backed up by evidence" That's the catch. Absolutely nothing on the trans debate is backed by scientific evidence. Almost every study on transitioning is biased to hell for it or against it. We don't know if it's effective, but we do know it comes with great costs.

@Sargon_of_Akkad No, lol. If you have a genuine solution for the gender dysphoria problem that doesn't involve transitioning and is backed up by evidence, i want to see. i'm interested in what is true. not what is good for trans activism. the recent video you did on me, was proof of that.

@GorgoThe @cryo_tom @StorageEnjoyer Of course. And consumers always default to buying the most expensive shit for the lowest possible price. And then they meet in the middle and the transaction ends up being average shit for average prices. That's just how supply and demand work.

@Stevi3ngton @NikTek I feel like ambient lighting for inanimate objects might have some future if well supported. But people don't look good at all. It changes facial features and expressions drastically. The hyperrealistic AI look doesn't look like real life. It's very uncanny.

I can't believe that Nvidia looked at this "AI on top of games filter" and said to themselves this is the future of gaming. Like it or not, this is where Nvidia is heading and they're calling it neural rendering with DLSS 5. The examples they've showed reminded me a lot of those AI generated filter videos on top of GTA V, except that now it is supposed to run in real-time. Honestly, I don't like this current look at all

@morgott_ @NikTek That’s fair early DLSS versions definitely felt like a tradeoff. The newer versions are trying to remove that tradeoff completely.

@Stevi3ngton @NikTek Ray Tracing looked at least a little better, the performance was the catch. DLSS, you lose some resolution to gain performance. DLSS 5 is the opposite. I'd rather lose performance than have it on my screen.

@dingusfinkelste @SnepOfTheWest @_Truthpaste_ No. Peter baptized gentiles first, but the ones in the Council of Jerusalem were from Antioch. I don't deny that christianity started among jews (Jesus himself btw). However, christianity and (pharisaic) judaism aren't the exact same thing.

@morgott_ @SnepOfTheWest @_Truthpaste_ Which had only happened days earlier. Peter preached to them and then baptized them. They were the first. Until then everyone else was Jewish. Those with Peter was amazed. Baptism is a Jewish rite still practiced today it's called Mikveh and it is part of conversion to Judaism.🤷‍♂️

A avó, filha… o Rosário. Patriarcado engraçado esse.

@dingusfinkelste @SnepOfTheWest @_Truthpaste_ No. The Council of Jerusalem happened precisely because there were Christians who were not jews (gentile converts). The council was explicit: you did not need to become a jew to be a follower of Christ.

@morgott_ @SnepOfTheWest @_Truthpaste_ You're talking about a time when all of the Christians in the world were Jews. They didn't even call themselves Christians. In fact Josephus records that out of the approximate 6 million Jews living in Israel and thought the then known world about 1 million believed in Jesus.

@dingusfinkelste @SnepOfTheWest @_Truthpaste_ It's basically "don't worship the way you used to". These themes are again brought up in Paul's epistles. "Don't eat meat sacrificed to idols". Where would people even find meat sacrificed to idols if not in places of pagan worship?

@dingusfinkelste @SnepOfTheWest @_Truthpaste_ Actually, it's not 3 out of 4 pointing to dietary law. It's 4 out of 4 pointing to pagan rituals. The council basically said: you don't need live as a jew, but don't do pagan worship practices. My overarching point about dietary law: x.com/morgott_/statu…
morgott@morgott_

@SnepOfTheWest @_Truthpaste_ Did they also allow gentiles to not follow the Ten Commandments? To kill, steal or bear false witness? It's obvious the council removed the need to follow jewish law. My point is that some rules in the jewish law were not given exclusively to jews, but to humankind. They existed

@morgott_ @SnepOfTheWest @_Truthpaste_ Yes and no. The Jerusalem council told them to not eat blood, meat sacrificed to idols, meat from strangled animals, abstain from sexual immorality and told them to go to learn at the synagogue. So 3 out of 4 commandments given to them point to dietary law. All point to Torah.

@SnepOfTheWest @_Truthpaste_ before the Law was given to jews through Moses. We know clean and unclean animals were a notion since the times of Noah. Therefore, dietary law was not abolished in the NT. It was to be kept by christians. The council did not touch this subject.

@_Truthpaste_ Yeah, and in light of this vision, the council of Jerusalem decided not to make the judaizing move of forbidding pork, which was within Peter's remit as prince of the apostles and vicar of Christ. Thanks for playing.
