@awmayhall @joeltelling @repkord @micronics3d Glass beads is a pretty common media for SLS powder removal. You can also use unsintered powder you used to print your parts as a media for a super gentle powder removal option.

@joeltelling @repkord @micronics3d Do they recommend a specific garnet for media blasting? I remember back in the day, (8 or so years ago) our prototypes used coconut shell chips as it smoothed the surface without removing too much material.

The @micronics3d SLS printer is pretty neat! These are my first prints from it!

@kpimmel There is not much that adds insult to injury then when you have to buy replacement parts due to a poor design and then have to eat exorbitant shipping cost….

No tool infuriates me more than my Glowforge when it does this 🤬 and has absolutely no helpful error messages. And then Glowforge tells you an original cable might be bad, and charge you $20 to replace their poorly engineered cable, + $25 to SHIP A RIBBON CABLE. Seriously wtf
