I will have more to say about the exchange with @RepMoskowitz . I felt the question needed more than a simple yes or no answer. He is rightly concerned about antisemitism. I’m not sure if Jews in the democratic party know that antisemitism is connected with hatred of Israel and the Jewish people more broadly. @JudiciaryGOP

It amazes me how after a jury of your own peers found you guilty, now suddenly you want to act like the victim. You are not a victim — you participated in an insurrection against the United States Capitol. Actions have consequences. What happened on January 6th was wrong, period. People assaulted police officers, stormed the Capitol, disrupted the certification of an election, and tried to overturn the will of voters. That is not patriotism. That is not “taking your country back.” That was an attack on democracy itself. And let’s be honest: if Black protesters had stormed the Capitol the same way, many of the same people defending January 6th would’ve demanded overwhelming force and mass arrests immediately. That double standard is why so many Americans remain angry. You don’t get to wave the American flag while rejecting elections, attacking democratic institutions, and then calling yourselves “true patriots.” Real patriotism means respecting the Constitution, respecting the rule of law, and accepting election results even when your side loses.

I am a J6er. I protested a stolen election. Walked right past the police through an open door, and the police let me in. My father's step son turned me into the FBI. My house was raided. They branded me a traitor, and insurrectionist, slapped me on a terrorist watchlist. I plead guilty to illegal picketing, a Class B petty offense misdemeanor with the same sentencing guidelines as walking your dog off leash on a National Park . They swore no prison time. They lied. Judge Hogan sentenced me to 30 days for “not being remorseful enough” and three years’ probation to tie me up through elections. An unconstitutional "split" sentence. My Judge, Judge Hogan called J6 worse than the war of 1812. All I did was chant "Stop the Steal!" inside the Capitol and wear the wrong Tshirt. God Bless the J6ers!

You clearly know nothing about the NAACP or why Black organizations often refuse to support politicians and movements that openly work against Black interests. The NAACP was founded to fight for civil rights, voting rights, equal protection, and justice for Black Americans — not to stand beside people who dismiss those struggles. Those three Black candidates made their own political choices, but let’s stop pretending criticism automatically means “division.” Many Black voters are tired of watching people support politicians whose policies and rhetoric have repeatedly alienated Black communities, then expect automatic acceptance afterward. And instead of constantly telling Black people how we should think, maybe hold those within your own political movement accountable. Disagreement is one thing, but acting like racism, voter suppression concerns, and attacks on diversity efforts are imaginary is exactly why these conversations stay heated.

The bottom 3 candidates were endorsed by the NAACP... The top 3 candidates WERE NOT!! NAACP is into partisan politics NOT black representation. DON'T LET THEM LIE AND SAY ANYTHING DIFFERENT!!

So now America is escalating tensions with Cuba again after more than 60 years of sanctions, embargoes, and political pressure that have already caused major suffering for ordinary Cuban people. Instead of focusing on the crises we have here at home — healthcare, housing, wages, infrastructure, and political division — we stay obsessed with policing the rest of the world. The Trump administration’s indictment of former Cuban leader Raúl Castro and the new sanctions on Cuba are part of a broader hardline strategy being pushed heavily by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who has supported aggressive policies toward Cuba and Venezuela for years. First it was Venezuela, now increased pressure on Cuba while tensions with Iran are also rising. At some point America has to ask itself: when do we stop trying to control everybody else’s future and start fixing our own country? You can support democracy and human rights without pushing policies that end up hurting everyday civilians the most.
