Never leave the gas pump in America until the screen resets
More and more people are finding a screw where you take and return the nozzle
If you pay with your card, this stops the gas pump from resetting
Someone is watching and waiting. When you leave they’ll quickly pull in and pump as much gas as they want into their car or gas cans
This is happening everywhere in America so you need to be very careful
Typically someone can pump about $175 bucks worth of gas from one purchase

@ClownWorld What I don’t get is when the nozzle is replaced it pushes the plate back and pump shuts off. When removing nozzle plate moves forward hitting screw has nothing to do with it shutting off.

Guy at a Sunoco in Ohio pulls up and shows what he claims is a scam at the pump
A nail or screw jammed in the nozzle holder so the auto shut-off supposedly doesn’t work. You start pumping, walk away, and it just keeps going. Your tank overflows while your money keeps rolling and the station wins
He says he showed management and they wouldn’t come out
Is this really an intentional scam or just how the pump works? What do you think?
