If we don’t stop the pollution fueling the climate crisis more people will suffer from extreme weather events like Hurricane Helene. That’s why we were in Asheville last week for our Extreme Weather People’s Hearing - to highlight the very real impacts of inaction on climate.

2025 work highlight? Getting to work with folks in Asheville on this People's Hearing to amplify the stories of North Carolinians hit by Helene. Trump denies there's a problem. So too does our EPA administrator. There's no denying it: climate change is here & it's killing us.

By rolling back the power plant greenhouse gas and air toxics standards, EPA is giving polluters free rein to poison our air with neurotoxins and cancer-causing emissions.

Secretary Zeldin, you have done more to dismantle environmental protections in 100 days than all of your predecessors combined. That may be a source of pride for you, but it will be a source of cancer for so many others. Cancer will be your legacy.
