When you get charged for Shop supplies on a service work order you are really getting charged a Dealership Tax!

@Campbellgrain @Inch_Creek As I do more billable work/more invoices, I start to understand the charge, instead of billing for (2)zip ties, (1) 1/4” nut etc. I still receive charges on invoices, for things that absolutely do not merit a service charge, and I believe it should job specific

@Inch_Creek I hate it. Its a % of the bill..... just make the shop rate what it should be then.

@dcookie377 @Campbellgrain I remember a truck dealership selling wiper blades that had a wire lead that just inserted into the heater core, or radiator. My Kia Carnival van has electric heated windshield

Trucking companies shouldn't have crashes on their record simply because they were somehow present. I talk about this all the time but it drives me insane the crash challenges we file for fleets that have nothing to do with the truck or the driver. This fleet will have to challenge this crash under @FMCSA CPDP because someone else was ignorant. Like saying you were present during the bank robbery so you have an accessory charge. It's retarded.
