If you missed the @CBSNews segment on brokers today you can find it here cbsnews.com/live/. I'm sharing the whole thing because you need to hear the whole thing. While I consulted on and did the undercover interview a lot goes into these and Michael Kaplan did an awesome job, @GenLogs again played a huge role. At the end of the day we have dangerous highways because we have non existent or very limited barriers to entry. At the end of the day there are consequences of this that we must focus on like Delilah Coleman and her family. Marcus also did great in this segment. This is what we're fighting for. Highway accident mitigation through appropriate barriers to entry, and licensing standards among so many other things. Brokers are a part but they're not the only part.

If you don't follow @CierraReporter in Indy of @NBCNews @WTHRcom, you're missing out. She is also working on the Chameleon Carrier issue on the Journalism side, and she dropped a good report last night on the Indiana Sam Express AJ Partners crash. I'm on with @TrucksafeLLC and I appreciate her work and her time. Anything I can be in the same video report on with my friend Steve Bryan, or Bluewire, I'm taking advantage of. @GenLogs is also covered here, in all its glory, as I showcase photos of how many shippers and brokers were still shipping with Sam Express and AJ Partners even after the crash. wthr.com/article/news/i…

Yesterday in Goldsboro, NC, a school bus hit a 7.5-foot bridge carrying Dillard Charter Academy students. 9 kids on board. 6 were transported to the hospital. Driver airlifted. 20.3 million kids ride school buses every day in America. 108 people die in school bus crashes every year. 13,200 get injured. The bus is still the safest option.

Roadcheck Week is coming, and it could shake up the freight market. Craig Fuller explains on the State of Freight Webinar why it could make already high rejection rates tick up a few more percentage points.

🚨ONE YEAR OF THE TRUCKING CRACKDOWN 🚨 @SecDuffy says: “The trucking industry has been allowed to operate like the Wild, Wild West for far too long. We’ve brought back common-sense rules of the road… and we’re just getting started.” 🇺🇸💪 breitbart.com/border/2026/05…

This is the industry we created with bottom dollar rates, low wages, imported labor. Everybody sees the act. Not everybody sees the system behind it. ATRI says drivers are detained 117 to 209 hours per year depending on mode. That pressure along with cheap rates and cheap competition and cheap labor has turned US drivers into machines instead of people just to compete. Not excusing this just explaining why it should concern you.

These are TSA agents standing against the wall. They are only there to perform the hand screening of the items the guests are carrying into the venue. Thats all they do (SS does metal detectors). They are unarmed. It's understandable that they fled. Don't get mad at them.

🚨 JUST IN: The DOJ has released HIGH QUALITY security camera footage of attempted Trump assassin Cole Allen SPRINTING through the security checkpoint at WHCA’s dinner This is NOT AI generated, like much of the footage posted this week Secret Service is adamant their agent was NOT struck by friendly fire, but was shot by Cole Allen with a 12-gauge shotgun.

A driver with a Russian CDL hauling a quadruple brokered load for a chameleon carrier owned by a Russian group, killed a father of 3. One of my many expert witness cases closing out in highway accident litigation. This isn't rare. Drove the truck at night using flashlights as makeshift lights. Import 3rd world, you get 3rd world. Especially for safety-sensitive roles. @USPS starts its non-domiciled CDL ban again today. Broker accountability ruling in a month. Both worthy of note after this case. @USDOT @FMCSA
