"The country I worked my entire life for is ripping my family apart," Trujillo told CBS News' @camiloreports. In a statement to CBS News, the Department of Homeland Security said ICE arrested Barahona-Martinez on June 10, noting she entered the U.S. illegally. The department cited a deportation order from over 20 years ago.

A CBS Colorado investigation by Logan Smith revealed that Jennifer Honka was dismissed after a state investigation upheld serious student complaints. According to the independent review: Students were pressured to participate in skits where they were directed to kiss same-sex peers. One student received a zero grade for refusing to participate; another’s attendance plummeted due to discomfort. The classroom featured a rule stating "the answer is always 'yes,'" which was used to pressure students. The state judge concluded Honka displayed a "troubling pattern of poor judgment" and acted recklessly. This is yet another massive failure of leadership from the Adams 12 School Board, specifically Board President and appointed State Democratic Representative Lori Goldstein, who has widely been called out as one of our state's most incompetent legislators. Because Colorado's system allows problem teachers to bounce from district to district under negligent leadership, our children are being placed in jeopardy. DANIEL PELCZYNSKI was just arrested for 1st degree motor vehicle theft. PELCZYNSKI is a registered sex offender from New York who recently moved to Colorado. He has an extensive criminal record in NY and has a conviction from 2005 for Sexual Abuse with an individual less than 11 years old. An online search shows that he was babysitting the victim at the time of the 2004 offense. He was classified as a Level 3 (high risk) sex offender, meaning authorities assessed him as having a high risk of reoffending and posing a threat to public safety. Level 3 offenders must register for life. He is currently being held on a $2,000 bond. 🚨 DRUNK DRIVER RUNS OVER TWO WOMEN WITH BMW IN DOWNTOWN DENVER 🚨 Cesario Serrato, 56, was arrested on June 14, 2026, after allegedly plowing his BMW into two women downtown. Witnesses say he ran a red light, hit at least two females, and dragged one under the car. Despite police yelling for him to stop and people screaming that a woman was trapped underneath, he allegedly stepped on the gas, leaving a trail of blood before officers finally got the keys out of the vehicle. Emergency responders and bystanders had to flip the car off the second victim. She was rushed to the hospital and is reportedly in critical condition fighting for her life. Cesario was out on a $0 PR bond at the time of this incident from another incident on 2/15/26. He has numerous cases open in Denver County Court. He also has a prior criminal history involving drunk driving, fraud, and weapons charges. Video footage circulating shows the chaotic scene but it is too graphic to share.
