@orionproxima Anakin and Dooku absolutely did face each other, and their last duel was before the Outer Rim Sieges (which lasted for months), in the Dark Disciple arc, which is why Obi-Wan says, "This time we will do it together." They also faced each other in the 2002 Clone Wars video game.

Show that Lucas personally created and executive produced, worked on and called a part of his SW world, his passion project "didn't happen." Batshit crazy outsourced experimental toy ad that Lucas said didn't follow mythology & rules of SW is "true bridge." Blue checkmark larper.

The opening scenes of Revenge of the Sith make it clear that Anakin and Obi-Wan haven't faced Count Dooku since AOTC. Therefore none of the Filoni Clone Wars happened. The 2003 microseries is the true bridge between AOTC and ROTS, and is much cooler as well.

@mightydudbolt I don't think it takes a lot of convincing to believe that the Nightsisters came from the guy who said, "I've written the third year of The Clone Wars," and talked about the witches at least three times, calling that arc great.

@AshanBhatoa @mightydudbolt It's interesting that Barriss Offee's speech in Season 5 of The Clone Wars was a direct instruction from Lucas, according to the writer of the arc.

Yoda tells Ezra Bridger that the Jedi were arrogant and consumed by the dark side during the Clone Wars. Not just Anakin.

@mudriym Considering the name of the Sith Shrine Arc was "Return to the Jedi" that pretty much confirms he probably wrote CW701-CW704

@DavidWadey1999 That backstory she’s talking about, which provides the drive behind her bad behavior, would likely have been touched on in the Bounty Hunter arc.

@Moyer_the_Boyar He said it in an interview on Rebel Force Radio. He also said he'd read all the prequel tie-in novels as a fan naming Darth Maul Shadow Hunter and Labyrinth of Evil at least.

Knowing Filoni read The Approaching Storm makes me think Anakin's dialogue to Luminara and Barriss in Weapons Factory was a subtle nod to that story.

“You don’t understand! George says he is old and can’t remember at one point in the discussion. This means Filoni is really just implanting George with false memories.” m.youtube.com/watch?v=4NgPKS…

If you deny Lucas’ contributions to TCW 2008, you’re not just calling Filoni a liar. You’re calling Henry Gilroy, Catherine Winder, Steve Sansweet, Tartakovsky, Hidalgo, the main cast, and ofc Lucas himself unreliable.

So George Lucas says it flat out, that the events of the Tartakovsky Clone wars series leads right up into Revenge of the Sith. Proof that Filoni didn't just screw everything up, he also lied his ass off for years.

George owned the company. I really don't understand what you think happened here. She hired Dave Filoni to supervise Lucasfilm's major foray into animation, something which they were reorienting the entire company around, and George had no input into this decision? Walk me through this.

@AshanBhatoa @LocalElfKiller @SheevTalks You're forgetting that this is a clone of Lucas, grown from Lucas' hair follicle by Filoni to make people believe he was behind The Clone Wars. x.com/AshanBhatoa/st…
Ashan Bhatoa (Des) - Amateur Archivist@AshanBhatoa

@JasonSokol3 @Nickelifts @jere7my No, I believe I actually possess the truth my fellows. Henry Gilroy, Catherine Winder and many individuals in the writers team created a clone of Mr. Lucas whilst he was shooting Red Tales! Hidalgo and Chee took Lucas' hair follicle to facilitate the process. Lucasfilm is a cult!

Sheev Talks 🟢 || The Andor video arc
1) Those novels—while both great—are not canon to the continuity this show takes place in, so that doesn’t matter. 2) Appealing to Lucas is VERY funny when he was the one who decided to bring Maul back in TCW.

This is horribly decontextualized. Lucas spoke many times about how The Clone Wars is not really a part of the plot pertaining to the fall of Anakin Skywalker; this is unsurprising, because we already saw all the essential parts of that story in the films. The Clone Wars is, as might be expected, the story of the Clone Wars. The story of Anakin's fall intersects with that story in some ways, but it is not the focus. Anakin's characterization is more static than in the films because TCW is more of an adventure anthology.
