@gmaulcharles @AlexGold @ShawneeMFord It was like that in @RGandE, it was close to 12-14 cents (8 +4)per KWH. During winter the cost went up to 25 cents ( 12 + 13 ) per KWH in 2025. Hearing same stories across state lines where increasing in surcharges. This will mean we have variance rates.

Just stopped by @ShawneeMFord to pick up the 2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E!! I’ll be showing off this ride the next few months. Not a bad time to be driving an electric vehicle with gas around $3.60 a gallon! #Ford #fordmustang #ad

@gmaulcharles @AlexGold @ShawneeMFord The base electricity rate is 0.12 per kWh , with additional charges of 0.13 per kWh. Most EV apps only consider the base price for savings, which is misleading. To accurately assess costs, divide the total bill by the total kWh consumed. This going to increase as well.

@AlexGold @ShawneeMFord sure but real benefit trickle charge when you sleep, good for the grid scenario. But with 25 cents per KWH it costs more to charge car compare to gas car.

@teslavangelist there are two problems, installing is close $1000-$2000 + with current electric prices hovering close to $.25 per kwh with plan to increase more. Why will I buy an EV?

@pluginsites @Ford @Chargepoint @jimfarley98 Kind of expected it, currently i paying $.26 per kwh for home charging, with my math that is more expensive than gas even with $4-5 gas prices. With price commerical chargers going show that to customers too. Please ask @rgande and other ppl not to be greedy.

$1.75/kWh at Key Scales Ford (Leesburg, FL) on the @Ford BlueOval™ Charge Network via @ChargePoint. That’s more than 3x typical DC fast charging rates. Are there no pricing standards or guidelines for dealerships joining the network, @jimfarley98? Ford owners should expect reliable and reasonably priced charging as part of the BlueOval experience. Transparency and reasonable fees would help build trust in the network.

@teslaloosa it is .25 per kwh where I live in, .12 cents manufacturing and .13 cents supply charge by @RGandE although their app claims it is .12 cents. As if @RGandE is going eat the cost of extra .13 cent they charge. It is close .10 cents a mile on EV with home charging.

Virtually no one knows what their kWh rate is. Except for one friend who's worked for the power company, I don't personally know anyone who knows. Every time I ask people, I get 🤷‍♂️. It's part of why people are hesitant to go EV. What's a kWh? No one knows. ⚡🔋🔌

@whatsinside That is big lie, electricity cost doesn't include surcharge which may vary based on season. Like now it is $.26 per kwh in winter compared to $.13 per kwh in summer thanks to @RGandE. Winter range is more 3 miles per Kwh vs summer rage is more 4 miles per Kwh

How much do you REALLY save driving electric cars vs gas cars? My Cybertruck cost $690 to charge this month. I am a bit surprised at how little the gas savings are. Click on the full image to see what Tesla estimates: 👇🏼👇🏼⛽️

It is really weird, #SuperBowlHalfTimeShow was about cost in places are high due to govt red tape, yet neither party wants talk about it. Instead talk about other things like linguistic and esthetics of the show.

@OutofSpecDetail Went with Costco package with Michelin x ice instead of Pirelli Tyres. Cheaper with OEM tpms and better tires you can get from e-bay.
