Steve Jobs called Google on a Sunday complaining one of the letters didn't have the right gradient color. Fast forward to 2024 and we get this? 🤦♂️ Seriously?! Customizable interfaces are a bad idea. That's because most regular users have absolutely zero sense of aesthetics. Meaning they will make their UI unreadable and then have a worse user experience because of it. And you may say - well, it's a free country, let them do whatever they want. When it comes to usable technology though I don't believe there should be freedom. We, as UX designers should not compromise on the experience just so someone can have a nightmarish color theme. Our job is to explain why it's a horrible idea to the stakeholders. It also dilutes the brand - makes universally recognizable app icons (worldwide) disappear into obscurity.

It's been a while - we've got something new: Spinamp Channels: A dynamic, blazing fast way to discover new artists and collect their music fast, all on mobile We've worked on this a while and we're sure you'll have a ton of fun with it. This launch is filled to the brim:

One other thing I would add… there’s way more creator events here. Dinners, conferences, meet ups Why are there so few in Europe!?

Nomad List's GPT4 mod bot can now read images and flag it if it's against the rules 😀
