💧Thames Water's rescue deal has collapsed. I called on the Government to put Thames Water into special administration last September. Since then, a portion of my constituents bills has gone into lawyers and consultants for a rescue deal that has now collapsed and servicing bad debt. Enough is enough. Let’s stop the misery, protect customers from sky high bills going on executive bonuses, protect our rivers from pollution and stop piling good money after bad. The Government needs to take Thames Water into special administration now, create a public benefit company and replace OFWAT with a regulator with teeth. #ThamesWater #LibDems

“Great” example of how NOT to do customer comms on price changes is @thameswater sending email about price increases starting in April without any mention of what those increases are, giving a link to multiple pdfs. @Ofwat is this level of “transparency” acceptable?
