2026 court attire update: When the witness stand starts looking like amateur night at the strip club, we might have a problem. Ma’am, the judge is there to hear a case, not get a lap dance. Respectfully 😂

YouTube made $60 billion in revenue last year. A billion hours of video get watched on the platform every single day. The resolution menu redesign tells you exactly how they protect those margins. 1080p uses roughly 3 GB per hour. 480p uses about 500 MB. That's a 6x difference in bandwidth per stream. When "Auto (recommended)" quietly serves you 480p while calling it "the best experience for your conditions," YouTube is making an infrastructure cost decision and packaging it as a user preference. Run the math on a billion daily watch hours. If even 20% of viewers who would have manually selected 1080p now passively accept whatever "Auto" gives them, that's tens of millions of dollars per quarter in bandwidth savings. Google runs its own fiber and CDN, so the per-GB cost is lower than market rate, but at this scale, every resolution tier shift moves the needle. The old menu had numbers. 1080p. 720p. 480p. 360p. Clear, comparable, user-controlled. The new menu has feelings. "Higher picture quality." "Data saver." You can still get to specific resolutions, but they buried it under "Advanced" because every tap of friction between you and 1080p is money saved. The tell is the default. "Auto (recommended)" with a checkmark already selected. YouTube is a $60 billion business telling 2.7 billion monthly users what quality they should want, while hiding the tool that would let them decide for themselves. The dropdown worked fine. That's why they killed it.

China rural population was going through malnutrition and growth stunting. They increased the 3 yuan to 5 yuan per student per day and made it mandatory for the government officials to eat the same meal as what those kids were eating. They added more meat, more milk, allowed more eggs and tofu for the kids in everyday meal. Result? 13-year-old males have seen the most growth in height and weight over the decade, with an average height of 7.5 centimeters taller and an average added weight of 6.6 kilograms from 2012 to 2021. 12-year-old female students who experienced the most growth had added an average of 6.3 cm in height and 5.8 kg in weight in 2021 compared to average levels by 2012. This is what happens when you keep your schools separate from your religious identities and don't do drama and rr on allowing eggs or meat or chicken in the mid day meals. (now a certain X users with low attention span will take this post as 'oh so you are saying veg food has no protein wow') Read it again.

If a room is filled with air, then you can “swim” to the wall. However, it may take a lot of time and effort because air is very sparse compared to, for example, water. An effective method would be to use your mouth to blow out air quickly, which creates a small amount of thrust and eventually allows you to reach the wall. A real problem - one that cannot be solved in any other way than by pushing something away - exists only in a vacuum combined with zero gravity.

A new study from Wharton researchers found that many people now "surrender" their thinking to AI. When given wrong answers from AI, users followed them about 80% of the time. Their accuracy got worse than if they had worked alone. Yet they felt more confident anyway. The study calls this "cognitive surrender." AI acts like a third way of thinking that can replace our own effort.

Just to make it clear: If they draft migrant men (of any generation), which they'll likely end up having to do, it will result in said men overthrowing the German government instead of dying in some meatgrinder war over liberal/global principles. They know it'll be a hell of a lot easier to overthrow a European government than fight against Russia or China or, ha ha, the U.S., or anyone else the globalists choose.

Gauss meets real life. Also - Notice how people lifting 95 already say, “Fuck it, let’s do 100” - so there’s a discontinuity point. Mathematical theory faces reality.
