@naityve That's just stupid advice. I understand the argument to not rely on globals AND to not misuse `goto`, but that's not your professor probably told you. Sadly, nuance is hard to convey, and even learn.

When using goto in C, does anyone else add a `;` after the label out of habit? label:;

@jackcrawford__ Sokoban + Whatever genre games like Dragon Sweeper and Proverbs are. I've currently been one-shotted by Proverbs and my god I feel I'm unlocking new areas of perception in my brain. Same feelings as the Witness had for me

this is exactly what happens when you unlock the ability to enjoy sokoban-style puzzle games either by suddenly realizing how to read the level design and actually think instead of blundering through, or by deciding to stop being offended when you feel stuck

@Jonathan_Blow In my experience (however this is Ireland rather than the UK) "Fair enough" is more akin to "I guess that makes sense"

When British or Australian people say "fair enough" I just don't really know what this is supposed to mean. It is like "bless your heart" but even more cryptic.
