Medical Tuesday. A Memphis gynecologist was just convicted on 40 federal counts and the details are stomach turning. Dr. Sanjeev Kumar and his staff were found guilty of repeatedly reusing single use hysteroscopes and other medical devices that are supposed to be discarded after one patient. These devices go inside the body. They were cleaned and reused anyway on multiple women while the practice billed Medicare and Medicaid millions for medically unnecessary procedures. 18 counts of adulterating medical devices. 16 counts of misbranding reprocessed single use tools. 6 counts of health care fraud. Single use means single use for a reason. Blood, tissue, and bodily fluids from one patient stay on equipment that then enters the next patient. This is not a sterile processing issue. This is dangerous unsanitary corner cutting that puts patients at direct risk of infection, complications, and worse. There needs to be assurance that our physicians understand and come from a culture of cleanliness and hygiene. That is more important than profit. This case is not some isolated rogue doctor- we have shown many such cases that appear to be a cultural misfit. It is what happens when the incentives in American healthcare reward volume, speed, and cost cutting above all else while the domestic physician pipeline stays artificially constrained and alternative labor pipelines expand. When standards slip and compliance becomes the priority over rigorous training and accountability, patients end up with reused devices inside them. The two tier system we have tracked for years makes these failures more likely, not less. American trained doctors carry full debt and oversight. The system increasingly runs on cheaper, faster, less accountable pathways. Citations (APA) U.S. Department of Justice. (2026, January 8). Federal Jury finds Memphis Physician Guilty of Adulterated and Misbranded Medical Devices and Health Care Fraud. U.S. Attorney’s Office, Western District of Tennessee. Talk about a jury I wouldn't want to be on... justice.gov/usao-wdtn/pr/f…

Look, I get it. A lot of us are demoralized watching RINOs and Chamber of Commerce types run for office. They talk tough but sell us out for cheap labor and open borders every single time. But here’s the brutal truth: sitting home or splitting votes isn’t an option. This midterm, we vote the RINOs out and replace them with people of real substance — fighters who actually stop immigration . If we don’t act and Democrats regain power, they will flood us with forty million more illegal aliens, which they will then legalize. Then the country is lost forever. This is the hill. Stand. Vote like your future depends on it. Because it does.

Democracy died 20 million illegals ago. How can “the people rule” when one party wants to import an entirely different people into this country for the sole purpose of taking power via demographic changes? The Democratic Party religiously recites the word “democracy” like it’s some sort of magic spell of legitimacy when their actions since the Hart-Celler Act of 1965 have amounted to nothing less than a wholesale assault on the concept of democracy.
Gavin Newsom@GavinNewsom

Donald Trump is OPENLY calling to suspend elections so MAGA can rig them. That’s how democracy ends.

Starting on May 1, the ban on meat and fossil fuel advertising became part of Amsterdam’s push to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. While purportedly neutral on carbon, it is manifestly negative on free speech...jonathanturley.org/2026/05/05/car…

The American Tribune
The entire middle of America is essentially one giant swathe of land that is absolutely perfect for raising cattle or bison...as shown by the vast herds of bison seen by Lewis and Clark Instead, we subsidize the production of vast loads of corn that exhausts and degrades the topsoil and underground water reservoirs, and meanwhile import cheap and worse-tasting beef from Brazil that drives American ranchers out of business, while allowing a few big meatpackers to further squeeze American ranchers and drive up beef prices for Americans It's nonsensical at every level, other than that it helps certain special interests that can afford to lobby for the most absurd policies imaginable
Rapid Response 47@RapidResponse47

.@SecRollins: "Half of these meatpacking giants, including the largest meat packer in the world, are either foreign-owned or have significant foreign ownership and control, making them a threat not just to our cattle producers, but a threat to America itself."

ICE is everywhere. In 2022, @ICEgov made arrests in 30% of counties. In 2025, @ICEgov made arrests in 62% of counties. We ask: Do ICE arrests spark political action? Theory and prior evidence suggest it should. We find that ICE activity mostly does not mobilize citizens.

Armenians should not serve in Congress. Neither should Somalis. Or Guatemalans. Or — wait for it— Israelis. If you are a citizen of a foreign country, you shouldn’t serve in ours. We need to pass my bill to stop the invasion of dual citizens in Congress. NOW.

They came for butter. We got margarine and seed oils, and a generation with heart disease their grandparents never saw. They came for leather. We got plastic shoes that crack at 18 months and end up in landfill with the rest of the petrochemical wardrobe. They came for wool. We got polyester fleece that sheds microplastics into every river and ocean, and into the lungs of every child wearing it. Now they're coming for beef. The pitch is textured vegetable protein, grown in stainless steel tanks in Singapore, fortified with synthetic B12 because the original article had it built in. The pattern is consistent. Every "improvement" is worse for the human eating, wearing, or wiping with it. And better for whoever owns the patent. Traditional materials work. They've been refined over thousands of years by people who had to live with the results. Industrial substitutes are refined over a quarterly earnings call by people who don't. The cow, the sheep, and the dairy herd were never the problem. They were the competition.

🚨 @RepBarryMoore has introduced the Americans First Immigration Act to finally END chain migration and the visa lottery. This bill (H.R. 8586) delivers on the promise to end mass immigration and prioritize American workers and wages. Will your Rep support it?
