@jemelehill Nope… nope.. not at all. As you can see here, some of his priority statements contradict each other when simply read aloud without context- “Abolish abortion and Protect Medical Freedom..🤦🏽‍♀️💁🏽‍♀️ make it make sense. It’s time for Abbot to GO!

Aye, white people: When you discovered the phrase “fuck around and found out” six months ago and ran it into the ground… What the hell did you think the “find out” part meant?

imperfect you is going to open doors. imperfect you is going to shatter expectations. imperfect you is going to break glass ceilings. imperfect you is going to heal your lineage. imperfect you is going to break generational curses. the imperfect in you will change the world.

@BluegrassChef it really is...and two things can be true. Let's stop putting people on pedestals and expecting them to be smart because they're famous. Using your fame for good, is great. But let's also not forget how they became famous. And she had a LOT of help to get where she is.

Prince didn’t make Rock & Roll or R&B. He made “Prince music.” It’s its own thing, like a duck-billed platypus or the word “vacuum.” Or if you could put a an orgasm in a martini glass and then sprinkle a little bit of Holy Ghost in it

@sulosophy Honestly, it's school admin not liking that they're being portrayed as clueless and disconnected because it hits too close to home. Hit dogs will holler...

Abbott Elementary is a workplace comedy, not a documentary. Were people this obtuse about The Office and Parks & Rec?

@EquityLiteracy Exactly. How can they uplift and honor the people who put in the work that came before they understood and benefited from what antiracism looks like in action at their orgs?

Emotional labor spent in workplaces by BIPOCs in service to antiracism is actual labor. It's often exploited when leaders benefit from appearing committed to DEI w/o being vulnerable. Leaders: how do/can you compensate this labor & include it in performance review & promotions?
