Revolut cuts off your eSIM after 4 months to avoid "bill shock" (???) That means you'll eventually end up in the middle of nowhere with no data, no way to top up your data (cause you need data for that), literally useless So you can't ever use it as your main telephone carrier! I have no idea who is running the eSIM department at @Revolut nor what they are smoking, don't you want my money?

The Orteig Prize put Lindbergh across the Atlantic and ignited the airline age. The Kremer Prize produced human-powered flight. The Ansari XPRIZE opened private spaceflight. Today, we're announcing The Boom Prize: $750k in cash and $50k in Boom stock for the first American amateur-built radio controlled airplane to break the sound barrier. Judges are @rookisaacman, @lrocket, @DJSnM, and Phil Condit. The prize is co-sponsored by Alex Gerko, @ElectricCapital, @caffeinatedcap, @balajis, @Denver_Ventures, and @joshbuckley. "I think they will tear through $10 trillion within, certainly within the next couple of years, & then have almost unlimited TAM for what they're building." We have two exciting announcements today as Cantos turns 10… First, we closed our new fund earlier this year. Canto IV is a $70M fund purpose-built to lead pre-seed and seed rounds. We oversubscribed, wanting to keep it right-sized for being a founder's most aligned first partner. Second, we launched our new look with help from our friends at @asimov_co! Cantos is so-named as an ode to epic poems, where grand stories are written in "cantos" rather than chapters. We view founders as the protagonists of today's epics and seek to back those whose deeds become the stuff of legend. After months of pretraining on hundreds of millions of images, supervised fine-tuning, and preference alignment, we're excited to share a first public preview.
