They will celebrate in the streets and hold parties. It will be a macabre display, such as we've never seen yet. @defense_of_fam And it's not just prom dresses, is it? It's the shorts that are barely there, the normal Sunday dresses, the 60 dollar jeans with most of the material missing. I wish I could sew. It's not a talent I was born with, nor have I been able to acquire it through practice.

It’s that time of year again…prom. After three boys, having a girl is a whole new experience, and dress shopping is not for the faint of heart. 😅 Every time prom and homecoming roll around, my daughter and I have “the great dress debate.” I want her to be modest, and she wants that too, but sometimes it’s hard to be different, even among your church friends. We go to great lengths to find dresses that make her feel beautiful, modest and confident. I’ve even started praying before shopping that we can find just that. Last night, after being with a friend who was trying on prom dresses, she came home and thanked us for having standards and caring about what she wears. She said, “I know I don’t always act like it, but I’m so glad you actually care about how I dress.” 🩷😭 Parents, your kids might not always tell you, but they appreciate when you care enough to set standards and expectations. They need you to be their parent, not just their friend…and I believe it’s important to be both.

Pregnant daughter and son-in-law currently trying to figure out how to pay rent with no VHA, food for them to eat daily, car payments and their dog needs to eat too!! To check into a hospital, yes, you need your ID or DL. But you don’t need ID in the delivery room as she implied. Big difference. Also, showing your ID isn’t sufficient in order to vote under the SAVE Act. You also need a passport or updated birth certificate, just like you showed when you first registered to vote. @grok how many undocumented immigrants illegally vote in federal elections?

I posted this on Instagram yesterday. Posting here today so that everyone can see how ridiculous this situation is. I was the one who made the Alo purchase, in person, in Utah. When we got the call that Charlie had been shot, we rushed from the office and into the airplane. We arrived in Utah with nothing but the clothes we were wearing. We were in those clothes all day at the hospital and slept in them that night. The next morning, our friend Stacy handed me her card, and I went out and picked up some items and toiletries for various team members and Erika. Alo was down the street. Also, if you look closely at the video below, you will see that the photo of Erika’s account was taken at 12:14 pm on March 10. A week before the video was released. That’s not a coincidence. It’s a clear sign this was a planned, manufactured attack. To accuse Erika or anyone else of entertaining a “shopping spree” hours after her husband was brutally murdered is cruel and vicious.

@Rep_Stansbury Then you are not a true representative of your constituents as a huge majority of legal US citizens want the SAVE act passed. Keep the govt shutdown down forever, then. Maybe someone else will rise up & take over while you do nothing.

To all the Senate Republicans trying to make the SAVE Act happen, let me say it again: We are NOT 👏 going 👏 to 👏 pass 👏your 👏 voter suppression bill. Period.

I am a Christian, and I have two daughters. Both my daughters attend public school. When my daughters were old enough to go to school I felt so much pressure from the Christian culture to homeschool them. I went to public school and had a really good experience, but everyone was treating public school like it was the devils playground. I tried to homeschool my oldest in preschool and I realized how terribly unequipped I was to teach. I didn’t have the discipline, nor the mental capacity to teach from home. I think public school is great. The teachers are all so intentional, the school counselors are lovely, and their principal remembers their names and things about them. We are very involved parents. We go on field trips, take them to school events, and go to all their conferences. Honestly, public school gets way too much hate.

@busy_bee_me If anything, for me, this change has made me realize I don't even know who is in the pres in my ward & that makes me feel kind of bad. When my dad was the 1st counselor in the SS pres, he said he was really just the assistant to the bell ringer. Now there isn't a bell, either.

Do I want to be in a SS presidency? No thanks. But I’m incredibly disappointed to see so much bitterness toward women from the brothers.

Dear Friends, Followers and Subscribers, our dear Americans, Seeing as one and all are reminiscing about Charlie Kirk today in light of the Iran war, I thought I would make something that happened crystal clear. Minds are for changing, and when the facts change we change our minds. We had dinner with Charlie Kirk in London last May 2025, and when Charlie I walked privately after dinner in Hyde Park, Charlie told me then that in his view Bibi Netanyahu was a psychopath and that the actions taken by his government in Gaza were psychopathic. We already knew that, so it was no shock to me, but it was good to see that his evaluation and capacity to observe the obvious was present and sane. Charlie had completely changed his mind and his position on Israel from when I first met him in Dec 2018, and in May 2025 he did not support their actions in Gaza or many of the actions of their government, particularly their growing destructive influence in America. Previously he had been one of Israel’s biggest champions, so this was indeed a complete change. We had witnessed his support of Israel previously as we had visited Israel with him in spring 2019 when he had held almost completely the opposite view. Charlie was also totally against any military engagement with Iran by America. And he told me in London that he had written a few days previously to Israeli leadership to express his disappointment. Erika, Charlie’s wife, shortly afterward on June 17th and 18th, communicated to us that she suported Charlie completely concerning his view of the insanity of involving the US in a war with Iran and the importance his attempts to achieve a peaceful resolution. And she communicated that directly to us in writing. She also, and most importantly, indicated that she did not agree with how biblical scripture was being used and was being twisted by pastors and politicians to justify their support of military action. This discussion is historically important in the light of discussions about dispensationalism* (see definition below) and how the Bible is being interpreted today by many politicians and military leaders to justify the current war. She stated very clearly that “the pastors” in Charlie’s orbit were “hungry for war.” That was her worry at that time, and Erika was VERY disturbed by it. Charlie was not alone in his views. Many feel the same way today. The elderly in America and the boomer generation seem to be somewhat unconscious on the subject of harmful Israeli government action and how it affects the entire future of America and the world. Charlie’s view was that most of the youth of today will never forgive Israel for the needless slaughter of innocent children in Gaza, and he suspected that they would not forgive Trump for a future war with Iran either. Charlie did his best to warn President Trump about this and what voters and the Trump base were telling him on June 18 last year. He did this knowingly at great personal risk to his personal relationship and friendship with the President. Today, the youth of the world and young voters in America, on the whole, have recognised that Trump’s actions in Iran are insane and that they have been encouraged by psychopaths. I personally believe that there is a possibility that Charlie was executed for his efforts to prevent the Iran war. This is my opinion. This matter and Charlie’s execution should be completely investigated. If an American citizen was executed by a foreign power for expressing their opinion, then we should be aware of that. I am not alone in that thought either. Charlie was one of my best friends; we communicated directly (often daily) since April 2018. We achieved a tremendous amount together. Maybe read your bill? The accepted forms of ID to vote under the SAVE Act: 1. Enhanced REAL ID: Only available in 5 states. Costs up to $50 (poll tax) and requires a birth certificate which 40M Americans lack access to. 2. Valid passport: 146M Americans do not have and costs at least $130 (poll tax). Trump gutted the agencies issuing them. 3. U.S. military ID card presented with military record of service. 4. Government-issued photo ID showing place of birth: 300M Americans do not have one, and costs up to $50 (poll tax). 5. Non-Enhanced REAL ID driver’s license, state ID, or tribal ID shown in conjunction with a birth certificate (40M lack access to) that matches your last name (which 69M women do not have due to marriage) and other forms of documentation, and which require a cost to obtain (poll tax). If this was truly a voter ID bill, it would provide every eligible voter in the U.S. a voter ID, and provide them at no cost to align with the 24th Amendment — so why doesn’t your bill do that if voter ID is so popular?

Use a friend's internet. The library. There is really 0 reason other than laziness for not having a valid ID.
