द्वापर और त्रेता का अंतर समझ आया कि नहीं?

The Modi government just can’t remain out of news cycle. Notice to @DelhiGymkhana is such a provocative move that entire Lyuten’s folks will be furious. The elitism of the Gymkhana can be judged by the fact that the waiting period to get its membership is 25 plus years. Some of those top sarkari babus working in the PMO and in the ministry of Housing and Urban affairs, that issued the notice, may be members of Gymkhana. Only in this government Netas can make the Babus work against their own favourite recreation club. We have rarely seen any government disturbing such elite clubs. Normally, the governments, using laws and its clauses, order demolition of Garib Nagars as it’s happening in Mumbai, currently. Certainly, this bold intent to take over 27 plus acres of land of Gymkhana enjoyed by the current and former powerful groups of ruling class is offbeat. This move will not be opposed by Aam janta, It will take time before the Gymkhana loses land. In land of Mahabharat nobody surrenders land without prolonged litigation. However, knowing the Modi government’s ongoing plans, to build modern offices of the Union ministries and central institutions around India Gate and in its surrounding areas, it’s not difficult to imagine some ministries bland buildings or some public park erected on this land within 10-12 years. The government camp will argue why should merely 1200 plus elites continue enjoying exclusive privileges, almost for free, when the government is facing acute shortage of land for administration? The club doesn’t own the land. Such club can operate in any corner of NCR but the union government offices are required to operate near other existing office clusters. It will be better @DelhiGymkhana surrenders the land. Aap ka time gaya! People should force the government to do great landscaping and transform 27 acres of Gymkhana land into a beautiful green park.
