As I was about to depart this morning, one of the small boys in the hood ran up excitedly.
“Gotter joke!” He said breathlessly.
Ignition off to give my full attention.
“They don’t make French frieth in Franth.” He said breathlessly through a gap in his teeth. “They make them in Greethe!”
It’s been a very rough week and the delivery was so good I have laughed myself to tears.
The boy, visibly proud of his delivery and the reception, joined in.
Whoever needs to hear it - all will be well.
All will be well.

@roomthinker @citizentvkenya @ntvkenya @NationAfrica @StandardKenya Why do you think they would blackout their financiers?

Guys @citizentvkenya @ntvkenya @citizentvkenya @NationAfrica @StandardKenya - why don't you give every last politician from the plant ecologist all the way to the MCA a complete media blackout for a fortnight? Not a single mention.

And this is the problem with Kenya.
Every Kenyan wants better for themselves. But that other person? Fuck that person!
So, how many Kenyans do you think don't want you to be better off (And no, this is not personal, it is a general thing. We want others to remain just there)

I have learned from progress studies that a society has to be able to demonstrate its collective ambition to grow for growth to happen (this is common sense that didn't need validation from a new academic field). You simply have to imagine better, and then will it to reality.
