MMRDA is majorly focusing on Road projects. Not against them, but a 2 lane+shoulder+metro (one way) could have been built in a single bigger tunnel along with the Borivali - Thane & Goregaon - Mulund UG Link Roads, instead of realising few years later that metro was required.

The government has proposed a new spur line to connect Metro Line 4 (Anik Nagar) to Bandra Station (Line 2B) via Sion. This line will likely also provide a connection to Metro Line 3 at the #Dharavi station. While the final alignment has yet to be published, the source of this proposal is the #Dharavi Master Plan.


Govt will not take any steps that could make their miserable lives even a little more tolerable.





Positive reviews too by passengers who are coming from Kashigaon/Mira Bhayandar side to Gundavali. I guess you can skip Dahisar check naka & the traffic jam.
