In the same boat. Finally broke down and bought one as well. Another advantage over convection ovens is simply convenience / time - because they are smaller, they’re much faster to heat up and you most often don’t need to pre-heat. That’s my main takeaway. Great for quick bites for the toddler or a fast lunch/dinner.

It’s garbage in / garbage out data. The airport data it also wrong (in addition to TSA data). Someone will look at this from a trusted source and think LGA is a 26 minute wait, when it’s 2 hours currently. Also a dark pattern of email sign ups with hidden opt out also annoying for growth.

Could be a useful tool. Many airports post the TSA wait times on their websites if you search, and the TSA itself has an app that displays wait times…though these are estimates & can sometimes be wildly off.

@shortgrassonly I'm pulling data directly from airports. Aside from hiring someone to take notes at every single airport, that's as good as it gets for live TSA data for the public. Trust me, I've been doing this for years.

@Ecnerwal23 This is a good take. I like the way you think. The Chicago style hot dog is like 80% there. The only disagreement I have is tomatoes. Salted tomatoes are great. And would add it should be a char-dog. And once in a while as a treat… wrapping the dog in bacon.

Williams was a 4th rounder. Not a hit but serviceable. It’s a risky move and these guys took time to develop. And many didn’t work out. Our last 4 CBs drafted were Nohl Williams Kamal Hadden Chamarri Conner Nic Jones Even Conner - the only other guy with playing time - took a year to play ST before getting meaningful time on defense. We need a starting caliber CB now.

The Chiefs hit big on Jaylen Watson in the 7th, L’Jarius Sneed in the 4th and undrafted Charvarius Ward via lowball trade. Now 3rd rounder Nohl Williams looks like their next stud CB. Even Joshua Williams was a solid hit. There’s no reason to pivot away from what’s working and draft corners early — unless somebody slides and the value is so insane they simply cannot pass.

Unless we have jobs that enable us to do that (and I used to), we are all guilty of that. County is too big and diverse to be able to connect with everyone, and the normal person probably only has time to really get to know what 25? 50? folks (many who won’t vote in this election) might be thinking about this. All we can know is it’s too hard to make judgments based on our close friends.
