I do think it’s possible for large React TUIs to spend 0.1-ish ms per frame rendering (without relying on alt screen)

This article from the Atlantic by the former President of Harvard said 2/3rds of her undergrad history class couldn’t read cursive which hindered their ability to read historical manuscripts. It's one thing that countries ban things, but surely the issue is that most never un-ban them? Look at cookies in the UK. It's a rule that changes little except creating work. Why not unban?
