SBS reports on unrest in Bishnupur where two children - five year old Tomthin & his five month old sister Leisana - were killed in a bomb attack by alleged #Kuki militants. However, the CCTV camera shown in the video is installed in the waiting area of the childcare room and not inside the baby feeding/care room. Passenger privacy is of utmost importance to us and no cameras are installed inside private feeding areas.

Despite repeated claims by sections of the Manipuri Tangkhul community that those present were merely innocent workers in the fields, the footage strongly suggests otherwise and raises serious concerns about the involvement of armed elements. The Kuki community firmly believes that NSCN-IM is actively involved in the present situation. The continued targeting of Kuki villages is pushing tensions to a dangerous level and threatens the fragile peace between neighbouring communities. It is deeply concerning that small Kuki ancestral villages in Kamjong District are being targeted. Attempts to deny the facts or mislead the public cannot hide the reality when clear evidence is already circulating. Such actions only increase mistrust and further destabilize the region. The Kuki community calls upon responsible leaders from the Manipuri Tangkhul community to acknowledge the seriousness of these incidents and ensure that armed elements do not continue to threaten innocent civilian villages. At the same time, we urge the Government of India, the Government of Manipur, and all security agencies to immediately conduct a thorough and impartial investigation. Those responsible for instigating violence and attacking civilian villages must be identified and brought to justice without delay. The Kuki community remains committed to protecting its ancestral land, its villages, and the safety of its civilians, while continuing to demand truth, accountability, and justice. Violence against innocent villages must stop. @manishasinghal I was flying NhaTrang to HoChiMin in 2022; a gal in the Q at the SHA was vaping & i was stunned there, being Indian. The security officer just smiled, checked & let her thru. Once I cleared the SHA I saw hundred of them vaping casually. Maybe this incident wl change rules now.
