My biggest problem with the Trinity: 1. If believing in it is critical to salvation then all through the Bible(Old and New) it would be clearly stated and repeated over and over throughout. 2. I dated a Mormon for years and was baptized as an adult. I left the church after a Sunday school teacher (for adults) held up the Bible and the Book of Mormon and asked, "which of these could we live without?" He actually said the Bible. I knew in my heart this was not true Christianity.

@conservmillen So, according to this teaching - that the Catholic and Orthodox lost their apostolic authority and Protestantism never had it, - no one from let's say 300 AD until Joseph Smith in 1830 was able to experience the full covenantal relationship with God.
