@owroot Much of Michigan is tied to the lakes, which gives it a slight seaside/New England bend. Not enough to shallow it out, but it’s a little there

I know write about Michigan as part of my work so I am a little biased, but I grew up in Michigan and have spent a ton of time in the past couple years traveling around Michigan taking photos of, and writing about life here and the fact of the Great Lakes is really a special one. I took it for granted as a kid but it really does make Michigan extremely unique. And yes, I know there are other states that border them, but honestly, we have most of them and we are the epicenter. Michigan is kind of the midwest but kind of not. It's kind of its own thing and the lakes are big part of the reason why.

Ever since I quit smoking marijuana the quality of my sleep has improved dramatically, but now I can rarely sleep throughout the entire night without waking up. Is there anything I can do or take to stop waking up an hour or two before my alarm goes off?

@tammy28x About 98%. But these schools are crazy exclusive and have a strong preference for wealthy legacy’s. If you are capable of getting in, and not coming from that background, it’d be a waste of talent for you not be educated
