Consider how absolutely insane it is that Abby Spanberger *needs to be ASKED* to not release an illegal immigrant who has sexually assaulted 12 teenage girls. WHAT IS HAPPENING
Breitbart News@BreitbartNews

ICE is asking Virginia officials, including Gov. Abigail Spanberger (D), not to release an illegal alien from jail after he is accused of groping about a dozen girls in the hallways of Fairfax County High School. trib.al/u16lI2x

Fun fact: In 1996, Barack Obama won his first elected office (Illinois state Senate) by throwing all of his opponents off the ballot. One of his tactics for disqualifying them was to challenge signatures on his opponents' petitions by married women who signed using the wrong name. Aerosmith on an episode of Wayne’s World, February 17, 1990. Photo by Alan Singer. In the sketch, Wayne Campbell (Mike Myers) and Garth Algar (Dana Carvey) are joined in their Aurora, Illinois, basement by Garth’s cousin Barry, an enthusiastic roadie played by Tom Hanks. Barry brings the entire band—Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Tom Hamilton, Joey Kramer, and Brad Whitford—down to the set. After a deadpan comedic discussion about the geopolitical decline of communism in Eastern Europe, the band performs a hard-rock version of the Wayne’s World theme song. A notable detail from this session is Joey Kramer playing the tambourine while Garth (Dana Carvey) takes over the drum kit. Do you remember this skit?

@EricLDaugh Nobody in TX wants Cornyn. The only ones voting for him are old folks who are scared to death of change. The "devil you know" voters.

🚨 BREAKING: Senate Leader John Thune calls on President Trump to endorse John Cornyn for Texas US Senate If Trump does this, he'd then be asking Paxton to DROP OUT of the GOP primary, letting Cornyn advance directly to November. Thune seems confident Trump will make his announcement soon. He spoke with Trump TODAY on Texas "I've spoken with the president already today about Texas. I'm certainly hopeful...I hope the president will endorse John Cornyn. An incredibly effective senator for Texas." "He represents by far our very best hope of Texas staying red." "The president makes his own decisions, but I have weighed in many times in support of Sen. Cornyn." "It's fair to say he knows full well how important it is we hold Texas...I expect you'll be hearing from him before too long."

This might have more traction if Paxton were not ahead of him in the polls. The only explanation is to base electability on Democrat crossover votes, which are not the usual subject of GOP pride.
Fox News@FoxNews

BALLOT BOX BATTLE: Texas Sen. John Cornyn is making electability the closing argument in a bruising GOP primary, warning that Attorney General Ken Paxton’s controversies could hand Democrats a rare opportunity to flip the seat. The high-stakes contest could help determine Senate control.

I was born in Texas. I’m going to die in Texas. And I’m raising my family in Texas because I love this state with everything I have. Today is the day. This is our moment, as Texans, as neighbors, as families who believe in faith and freedom, to choose a new generation of leadership. A generation that understands service is temporary. A generation that believes you serve, you deliver, and then you pass the torch. I got into this race to give Texans a real conservative choice. I was the first in the country to endorse President Trump. I stood with him from day one because I believe in fighting for this country, not managing its decline. But long before politics, I wore the uniform of the United States Army. I flew 55 combat missions over Baghdad. I deployed to Saudi Arabia. I bowed my head before missions and asked God to bring me home safely. Service is not a talking point to me, it is who I am. I come from a family of three West Point graduates. My father is a retired lieutenant colonel. We have more than 60 years of military service in our family. We were taught that leadership is about sacrifice, not titles. I’m asking for your vote, not because I want a lifetime in Washington, but because I want to serve two terms and then step aside. That is how you keep a republic strong. That is how you prevent power from becoming permanent. Thirty years in the United States Senate is not service. It is a career. And Texans deserve better than career politicians. Today, we have the opportunity to turn the page on the status quo. To remind Washington that Texas still believes in faith, in family, in freedom, and in servant leadership. I am humbly asking for your vote. I am asking for your prayers. And most importantly, I want you to know this from my heart, I love you, Texas. Thank you.

🙏💖October 1971. Memphis. On a street corner outside a small pharmacy, a 12-year-old boy sat with a worn-out guitar and a cardboard sign: “Playing for Mama’s medicine. $17 needed.” He’d been there three hours. He’d made one dollar. His mother was sick. The doctor said she needed antibiotics immediately. They cost $17. She only had $8. The pharmacist couldn’t release the medicine without full payment. So the boy picked up the only thing his father had left behind — that old guitar — and tried to earn the rest. People passed by. Some smiled. Most didn’t stop. Then a Cadillac pulled up. Elvis Presley stepped out. He heard the thin, determined sound of a child refusing to give up. He saw the sign. The nearly empty case. The fear behind brave eyes. He knelt down. “What’s wrong with your mama?” “She’s real sick. It’s $17… and we don’t have it.” “How much have you made?” “About a dollar.” Three hours. One dollar. A son trying to save his mother. Elvis reached into his wallet and placed a $100 bill in the guitar case. “Sir… that’s too much.” Elvis gently put a hand on his shoulder. “Son,” he said, “there’s no such thing as too much when it comes to your mama.” 💖🙏

A man walked into a restaurant parking lot and stopped at a 1973 Corvette Stingray. He started telling stories about the one he used to own, the one he sold 40 years ago after proposing to his girlfriend so he could provide for her and her two kids. He wasn’t their biological father. He chose them. For 40 years he raised them as his own and never looked back. His daughter let him talk, let him remember, then handed him the keys. The licence plate reads “YDHT.” It stands for “You Didn’t Have To.”
