Man, you really have to be careful who you hire to do your SEO. Spoke to a brand owner last week. He's been spending $10k/month on SEO for the last year. And monthly organic traffic has only increased by 100 clicks/mo. What an absolute scam. To make matters worse, I've only counted 8 high-quality backlinks built in the last 6 months. And the site only has 18 total blog posts. What has he even been paying for? SEO agencies and providers who deliver this kind of work really hurt the reputation of the industry as a whole. With this level of SEO spend, this brand should be dominating its niche in Google. Instead, it's basically invisible. What a shame.

Go ahead. Just know, you look like an absolute fool.

BREAKING: @AOC just completely went off on Trump after ICE murdered Alex Pretti. "Donald Trump [is] accusing a Veteran Affairs ICU nurse (Alex Pretti) as being a terrorist against the United States. A man who was treating services members to our country, who was dedicating his life to serving Americans. Who in his final act on this earth was helping a woman pushed to the ground. And they are calling him a Domestic Terrorist, in order to defend their gross abuse of power, their absolute breaching of the law and in order to precipitate greater conflict."

The administration has not provided one piece of evidence that he was threatening law enforcement with a weapon he was in legal possession of. Folks that don’t know “gun people” would be shocked how often they surrounded by folks that are carrying. Carrying isn’t a crime. It’s not a threat in and of itself, and they shot him (as far as the evidence suggests) AFTER he’d been disarmed.

I'm increasingly convinced the key to understanding our political moment is recognizing that the Trump administration is staffed with people who share his addiction to theater, rather than policy. They want to look "tough" on TV, they want to scare their enemies, they are far less interested in policies and outcomes. Greenland is a perfect example. There is a pathway by which we use diplomacy to make a case for buying it, something many foreign policy hawks have talked about for years. But the addiction to theater means the whole conversation has been marked by bluster and stupidity. The expansion of ICE into a force of masked thugs is another. As is the social media campaigns of various agencies that mimic fascist language and imagery from the early 20th century. The point isn't policy — it's image-making. And the biggest problem with all of it is it's utter irresponsibility. It's permission-giving to amoral people to embrace language and actions that are violent and deeply unAmerican. This will all end badly, I'm certain.
