Everyone deserves a safe, secure place to call home. That’s why I’m so proud that our Labour government is building council homes, while protecting renters from unfair eviction and unaffordable rent increases. Vote Labour this 7 May so we can keep building together 🌹

@LawrenceLocke6 @Bob_cart124 What has voting the greens got to do with embracing homosexuality. No one cares what anyone does in their private time in their bedroom. Dude, green over gammons and Starver any day. Personally, they are not my choice but tactical voting and all

@Bob_cart124 So you back a party led by a Homosexual Jew? Lovely. Nice to see British Muslims embrace homosexuality. We can have gay pride marches involving Mosques to allow Gay Muslims, including Gay Imams to partake in the celebrations.

According to our 5Pillars poll, most Muslims will be voting for pro-Palestine independents or the Greens. Many will simply not vote at all - an equally respectable and totally understandable position. The plan is clear: vote independent, but if a good option isn't available, seek the best alternative (maybe Greens.) Muslims are doing this for Gaza, to punish Labour and block Reform - that's it.
5Pillars@5Pillarsuk

We asked our readers and viewers how they plan to vote in the upcoming May 7th local elections. The largest share, 47%, said they would vote for independent parties, while 27% said they planned to abstain. Only 18 people — 2% of voters — said they would be voting for Labour.

@Zamarsami @Bob_cart124 Muslims are not an ethnicity so your sweeping statement that implies health issues in the Muslim community is something unique or prevalent to a religion is dumb.

Iran (I.R.of) Embassy in UK
Press Statement by the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in London
Regarding recent remarks made by certain United Kingdom officials   The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in London expresses its strong protest and serious concern regarding recent remarks made by certain United Kingdom officials. The Embassy categorically rejects these baseless allegations of antisemitism directed at the Islamic Republic of Iran. Guided by Islamic principles and a rich, ancient cultural heritage, the people and government of the Islamic Republic of Iran categorically reject all forms of antisemitism. Iran is home to one of the world's oldest Jewish communities, whose members enjoy full recognition and protection of their religious, cultural, and political rights andcarry out their daily lives and religious practices with complete security and freedom. In this context, it is emphasized that, unfortunately, Iran’s Jewish minority, alongside other Iranian civilians, has also been affected by aggressive anti-Iranian policies and measures of the United States, the Israeli regime, and the Western countries, including sanctions and war. A recent example cited is the bombing in Tehran that the Rafi'-Nia synagogue was completely destroyed during criminal war of aggression by the American and Israeli regimes. Therefore, principled criticism of the policies and actions of the Israeli regime, including its aggressive conduct and widely reported violations of International Law and Human Rights norms particularly perpetrating genocide, should not be deliberately or mistakenly equatedwith antisemitism. While underscoring the need for vigilance regarding potential false-flag operations, the Islamic Republic of Iran requests the Government of the United Kingdom to address such sensitive and suspicious incidents in a fair and professional manner, and to strictly refrain from any hasty or politically motivated attribution of such incidents to third parties. These unfounded accusations are made despite the fact that the British Government has thus far failed to respond to any of Iran’s requests for evidence or substantiation in this regard, which itself demonstrates the absence of credible proof and the baseless nature of such allegations. Moreover, the United Kingdom has consistently declined to engage with Iran’s professional proposals for the joint examination of such cases through the relevant authorities of both countries. These groundless allegations against Iran are raised notwithstanding the fact that, over the past decades—particularly in recent years—individuals and leaders of terrorist groups and organizations responsible for numerous crimes against the Iranian people have been freely active in the United Kingdom and have made use of facilities and resources in that country to conduct terrorist activities against the Islamic Republic of Iran. Providing a safe haven within its territory for such elements is inconsistent with international instruments and conventions relating to the prevention and suppression of terrorism, and entails the international responsibility of the Government of the United Kingdom. The Islamic Republic of Iran firmly condemns any unfounded and irresponsible accusation, which lack credible evidence and risk exacerbating tensions through the promotion of misleading narratives and once again urges the British authorities to act responsibly in addressing political and security matters. Fahad Ansari 🇵🇸 (Stop the Gaza genocide)
Rajiv Menon KC has been dragged before the court for contempt for (1) Highlighting a case from 1670 which established beyond question the independence of the jury (2) Reading out the inscription of a plaque at the Old Bailey commemorating the case, which states that it “established the right of juries to give their verdict according to their convictions”. Every lawyer in the country should go on strike to protest this latest attempt to protect Israel by now sanctioning lawyers for doing their job.

Rajiv Menon KC is accused of defying judge’s orders to not inform jury of right to acquit on basis of conscience while giving his closing speech in the trial of six people in relation to a 2024 direct action protest at an arms factory of the Israeli subsidiary Elbit Systems UK. What’s the point of a jury if the judge can give such a directive.

Labour is trying to clean up 15 years of failed Tory policy - it’s not a quick patch job, it’s a full rebuild. Think about it: you don’t fix a broken economy, public services on their knees, and underfunded councils overnight. It’s like inheriting a house that’s been neglected for years - you don’t just repaint the walls and call it done, you’ve got to fix the foundations first. Voters might be frustrated now, but punishing Labour early just risks resetting everything again. And that’s the trap: constant political resets mean nothing ever actually gets fixed. Same cycle, same mess. If people want real, lasting change - not just headlines, they’ve got to give it time to actually land. #VoteLabour

'Antisemitism' is the excuse to crush all debate, all dissent and all resistance to the regime. The British state has declared open war on all democratic freedom and liberty. The proscription lists are being written, the dawn raids are coming.
