@wayseyways @dallaglio8 The idea that women’s rugby is somehow responsible for the difficulties of community clubs (which is real) does not stand up to scrutiny. The growth of the women’s game doubles our potential base, roots our clubs genuinely in the community, and ensures rugby’s long term health.

@dallaglio8 Sorry Lawrence but ladies Rugby is built on the denied funding to the grass roots men’s game which is sinking without trace in many areas. It would be nice for once if the sport would acknowledge this. It’s very sad.

@stephenjones9 Criticising politicians for either a) turning up at sporting events or b) not turning up at sporting events just makes a mockery out of politics. It’s pointless tribalism. Criticise on the basis of policy, decisions or behaviour but this surely harms, not helps, our democracy.

Never seen any of these three at a rugby match. They must have been on the opposite side of the ground every week
