Current state of the medical establishment: Brought a friend to the ER for a high fever. Put their symptoms into Grok. Grok told me to ask for 4 tests. Doctor said 1 of them is unnecessary. I insisted we do them all. Test came back positive on the one he didn’t want to do.

Between 2008-2017, there was a major hotel chain that offered 1 free night if you beat their own rate for the same room/night. There were always currency irregularities where I would be able to find any free might that I needed. And I would do multiple bookings with whoever I was travelling with to get the whole stay for free. I travelled the world in 5-star hotels for free using this method and accrued points which I then redeemed for free flights. Then on New Year’s Eve in 2017, I used the hack to get the presidential suite that was listed for $20,000/night. It was approved but when I checked out, they put out a press release ending the program.

@oh_no_dmo @NWischoff @isometric_tech is it customer-specific or industry-wide? This needs to be an industry-wide product, not something you have to sell into shippers or brokers. Give me a uniform industry-wide standard for carrier quality.

Short list of startup ideas in freight from @MattSilver for those trying to figure out what to build: -Tracking: Natively integrated solution that enables shippers and logistics providers to better track location of freight (key word being integrated, no one is) -Scheduling: Something better than Calendly type products with no standards for cross-platform comms -Carrier Quality: No way of knowing if a carrier does a great job (on-time pickup, how they communicate, quality of their equipment) Perhaps its getting carriers and shippers to share their performance data on carriers and build from there. Credit score like offering. -Broker Identity & Quality: Double-brokering/fraud is rampant. Highway does a great job of brokers managing carrier identity but need something similar on brokerage side.
