@Ssaniya_ The idea of worshipping the nation is super stupid and counter intuitive. We all know that we barricade a geography and call it a nation to live by its resources without outside compitition.

While cutting consumption may help an individual household save money-use less fuel, postpone travel, reduce expenses-the same logic doesn’t apply to a nation. Consumption drives economic activity. When people buy goods, travel, attend sporting events, eat at restaurants, and use services, businesses grow, jobs are created, and incomes rise. The United States became the world’s largest economy in large part because it is the world’s largest consumer market. Demand fuels innovation, investment, and growth. A family can prosper by spending less. A country prospers when millions of people have the confidence and ability to spend more. Simple economics. Someone should explain the difference to our great leader.

The NEET paper leak would probably have stayed buried forever if a school teacher from Sikar had not refused to stay silent. Shashikant Suthar, a chemistry teacher from Rajasthan, was shown a “guess paper” by one of his neighbors after the NEET exam. That PDF had reportedly been circulating in Telegram groups for weeks. Out of curiosity, he matched it with the real exam paper. The result was terrifying. Around 140 questions were identical. Same sequence. Same wording. Even punctuation marks matched. He rushed to the local police station expecting immediate action. Nobody listened. No FIR. No urgency. No investigation. But instead of giving up, he kept escalating the matter emailing the NTA, PMO, President of India, and CBI while continuously raising the issue online. Only then did the system move. Rajasthan Police formed a Special Operations Group. What initially looked like a small leak soon exploded into a nationwide examination scam connected across multiple states. The case eventually reached the CBI. NEET was cancelled. And investigators uncovered an organized network of professional paper leak operators. This entire scandal was exposed because one ordinary teacher decided that remaining silent was not an option. Sometimes one honest citizen is more powerful than an entire broken system.

Khushwant Singh, in his book, ‘The end of India’, published in 2003, had warned about Narendra Modi and his fascist agenda. Today, in retrospect, one has to say that the great writer was bang on!

New Progress 🧢⬆️🍎🦉🇺🇸 #HumanityForward
The only decent and caring people are those fighting for universal basic income. Living should be a given. It should have been for generations. Objective levels of material poverty could have been eliminated BEFORE the 21st century. We've always had the means.

The same people telling you that you should eat ramen noodles and white bread sandwiches everyday to save money while working overtime are the same people that will be telling you you should’ve just taken better care of yourself when your body is broken and you want healthcare.

Universal basic income changes everything, which is why it was the "first and fundamental objective" of the Civil Rights Movement after 1965. It remains the top priority of EVERY pragmatic progressive who understands the problems we face.

Bitcoin = money that dictators can't stop. Let me translate that for the people in the back who still think their vote matters more than their private keys. Bitcoin is the first monetary weapon in human history that laughs at tanks. You can't bomb a protocol. You can't arrest a blockchain. You can't invade a network that lives everywhere and nowhere simultaneously. Every dictator, every central planner, every empire builder throughout history has had one ultimate power - control the money, control the people. Freeze the accounts. Seize the assets. Debase the currency. Starve the rebellion. That playbook just got shredded. Bitcoin doesn't care about your borders. It doesn't require permission from the party, the politburo, or the pentagon. It doesn't care if you're a dissident in Beijing, a trucker in Ottawa, or a journalist in Moscow who just pissed off the wrong oligarch. 21 million coins. Immutable. Unstoppable. Unseizable. This is the first time in recorded civilization that individuals can hold wealth that tyrants cannot confiscate, cannot inflate away, and cannot shut down - even if they want to. They can ban the exchanges. They can outlaw the miners. They can threaten you with prison. But they cannot stop the protocol. That's not a bug. That's the entire point. Bitcoin is sovereign money for sovereign individuals.

An article by Scott Santens argues that universality is what fundamentally distinguishes UBI from targeted welfare systems. It avoids many of the bureaucratic barriers, stigma, exclusion errors, and “welfare cliffs” common in means-tested programmes. zurl.co/w4KNl

Another unpleasant truth (Indians really need to start confronting unpleasant truths). India ki democracy ka theka opposition parties nay nahi le rakha, fatherchods. Bhosadike, 15 saal BJP/Modi ki gaand mein sarr tum ghusao, unko elections tum jitwao, desh ki gaand tum maaro, aur khud ki bhi, aur ab jab gaand phat kay darwaza bann gaya, toh opposition yaad aa gayi ...??? Opposition aisa hai, waisa hain, opposition kya kar raha ...??? Yeh sahi hain, beta...!!! Tum kya kare rahe bey, bsdk ...??? What about your responsibility as a citizen of a democracy ...??? Whatever the opposition has done (be it RaGa, AK, Mamta, Uddhav, whoever) is more than what you ungrateful gutter ka keedas deserve. Fuck you, and fuck your complaints, and I hope Modi/BJP fuck you up your ass so bad, that your seven generations remember it. If you want to save your future, ab khud gaand hilaana seekh lo, khud kuch karna lo. Or eat shit for the next 20, 30 years. Your choice ...!!!

@olmar555 @scottsantens What do you mean? They literally own the means of producing money out of thin air. They own everyone and everything on this planet, because we’ve been brainwashed to thinking their money has value. We literally value it more than our own lives or the lives of our children.

“I believe an unconditional and universal basic income floor is essential for humanity. We have to get away from judging everyone and instead support people. The positives are great for UBI, but I also believe it’s essential for our democracy. AI is taking away jobs and we have to find a way to support people and share the vast wealth it creates. Otherwise the dictators and leaders of hate and division will win.”

Alberta wants to build up their Heritage Fund to $250-400B by 2050. The right thing to do is pay everyone Alaska-style dividend cheques, for a very simple reason: it creates the missing link between citizens and their rights & duties as stewards of a shared natural inheritance.
