Good Friday isn’t about the universal virtue of “sacrifice.” It’s about Christ’s particular sacrifice - his brutal crucifixion - a real, historic event with eternal consequences.
“[Jesus], being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross!”
On this Good Friday, let’s all solemnly remember Christ’s propitiatory sacrifice and glorify Him.

Jesus Christ was God and on Good Friday we acknowledge he gave everything for God’s glory and our redemption.
No amount of fasting or posturing will match that sacrifice.
Today the focus is solely on Who He is and What He did.

I notice an inconsistency in when clergy visits to the White House are a concern for the evangelical establishment.

Perhaps wise clergy & religious leaders should just stay away from the White House under all administrations. Their reputations are never enhanced by these visits. Presidents should go to churches, not vice versa.

Well, he is not a Believer in Christ… that creates a bit of a problem for him as Governor of the Church of England and as king since he is breaking his coronation oath. Also a bit of a problem for him regarding his eternal future:
“Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven.”

If he has acknowledged Jesus Christ and his resurrection in the past and now is not, I would argue that is a public denial. Especially if he acknowledges other faiths.

BREAKING: Pam Bondi has been fired as attorney general, according to Fox News.
EPA Director Lee Zeldin is reportedly under consideration to replace her.
According to Fox, President Trump met in the Oval Office with Bondi before his speech last night.
"One of those sources said that by the time Trump took his place behind the podium for the address, Bondi had already lost her job and was on her way back to Florida," Fox News reported.
Bondi's firing comes after she was heavily criticized for the handling of the Epstein files.

Have I ever told y’all that my mother prayed for my 4 siblings and me daily and faithfully long into our adulthood and, as she spoke our names to the Lord, gave him our addresses? It did no good for me to say to her, Mom, God knows where we live. She’d say, YOU HAVE COMMON NAMES.

I would hope you might tell @realDonaldTrump that you do not agree with Paula White comparing Trump to our Savior, Jesus Christ during Holy Week. All of our focus should be on Christ. I will support and pray for those in government, but Paula White should not be a “Christian” advisor to the president.

It was a privilege to be at the White House today. @GregLaurie and I stopped by Secretary of State @MarcoRubio’s office. I appreciate Secretary Rubio and the great job he does. He certainly has a full plate, and I know he would appreciate your prayers.
