As a gay man, I've been repeatedly called transphobic simply because I will never date a trans man. My response remains straightforward and rooted in reality: I like men... adult human males...not women.
Here's the clarification that seems to upset people: Homosexuality is a same-sex sexual orientation. By definition, gay men are males who are sexually and romantically attracted to other males. This attraction is based on biological sex, the physical, reproductive reality of the body not on gender identity or self-perception.
