@mahmoudkhalel Go home. Unfortunate you do not belong. You hid your affiliation with a terrorist group when you entered this country and you created havoc while in the counrty. You are not wanted here. Go home and bring your family.

Mahmoud Khalil | محمود خليل
As I’ve said from the start: DHS fabricated pretextual “fraud” charges in retaliation for my pro-Palestine speech. They knew they had no leg to stand on but proceeded anyway. On year after my arrest, DHS never presented any evidence of unlawful conduct.
Prem Thakker@prem_thakker

Incredible—As DHS now says they'll deport Mahmoud Khalil, new docs show the State Department itself knew how weak the case was to take him. They themselves admitted he'd likely challenge it & that courts would "scrutinize the basis" for the Trump-Vance-Rubio admin to deport him:

I’m voting yes on @RepThomasMassie’s amendment to zero out all aid to Israel, including aid for offensive and defensive weapons like the Iron Dome. I cannot vote for aid to a country that committed genocide and has used tax dollars to detain Americans like me.

You describe the incident as "a bit delayed in driving forward." In America and most democracies, being blockaded by armed settlers and the IDF for 75 minutes (which no one disputes) would constitute detention/false imprisonment and the perpetrators arrested. Israel's response not understanding what rights are is almost more disturbing than the horrific incident itself witnessed by the NYT photographer, other Americans, and Israelis and confirmed by the Jerusalem Post, NYT, and Reuters.
Haviv Rettig Gur@havivrettiggur

Alas, Mr. Congressman, I'm not lying. And I started this line of questioning assuming you were telling the truth. I've written long essays on extremist Israeli violence in the West Bank. I know it happens. I was ready, at first glance, to believe it happened here. But it didn't. This wasn't Israeli violence. This was agitprop for your American audiences. I said explicitly that I'm not familiar with the details of that area. It took a lot of effort for JPost to find out what it found out -- which was that it was a closed military zone only recently opened. But if you'd coordinated your visit with Israeli authorities, this would have been sorted out from the start. Those soldiers weren't angry or aggressive, they seemed mostly just confused about the status of the area and how to handle your visit. Because, you know, there was no coordination. JPost suggests all that in the article you yourself shared. And what of the violence? Your group had cameras -- a professional photographer and at least one bodycam -- yet you've produced no evidence that I've seen of the violence you claim to have experienced. Remember that you claimed the violence was sufficient to demand that Netanyahu order the prosecution of those soldiers. I've seen that sort of violence before; if you produce that footage, I'll join your demand for prosecution. That's not rhetoric. I really will, wholeheartedly. But if you don't, I think it's safe to assume you blew up a small inconvenience caused by your own refusal to talk to Israelis. In a similar vein, you used the word "detained" as if you were unlawfully held against your will -- and hide behind its second meaning, that you were a bit delayed in driving forward into the area. The first is on the spectrum of kidnapping crimes, the second is the sort of problem you'd encounter at the entrance to a federal building as you search your pockets for an ID. Which was it? Anyway, you were angling for some domestic political brownie points, and congratulations, you got 'em.

Of course America deserves safe neighbourhoods. That’s what we all want. None of us want innocent people like Laken Riley, Rachel Morin, or 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray raped and killed by criminals who entered our country illegally. Those are real tragedies. However, most arrests by ICE have been for misdemeanors like illegal entry. Many have been here for years with U.S. citizen kids and contribute to our communities. We should target actual criminals with precision instead of chasing arbitrary daily quotas. Two wrongs don’t make a right. May they rest in peace. #LakenRiley #RachelMorin #JocelynNungaray

Homeland Security
On July 13, 2026, at approximately 7:00 AM ET, ICE was conducting targeted surveillance on the last known address of an illegal alien with a final order of removal. An illegal alien departed the residence in a vehicle. ICE law enforcement attempted to conduct a vehicle stop. The vehicle attempted to flee the scene and, fearing for public safety, an officer discharged his weapon. The driver of the vehicle was struck, and emergency services were immediately contacted. He passed away from his injuries.   The Biddeford Police Department and FBI responded to the scene. DHS OIG has been notified and like all discharge of firearms this will be investigated. This is a developing situation, and we will update the public when more information is available.

Another American community turned into a combat zone. ICE agents shot and killed a person in the streets of Biddeford, Maine. They are acting like Trump's racist secret police force because they know they have zero accountability. It is long past time to abolish ICE, strip them of this unchecked power, and prosecute every single agent involved to the fullest extent of the law. Biddeford deserves answers, and the American people demand justice.

@TheOmegaMan7 @theblaze Iberian Peninsula was known as the “Caliphate of Córdoba” under Muslim rule (929 - 1031). Before & after this period it was known as “al-Andalus” also ruled by them. It took Spain over 700 years to expel them. So take note. Once their claws are in it is hard to get rid of them.

Muhammad entered Medina in 622; by 627 the Jewish tribes were expelled, men executed en masse and women and children enslaved for refusing submission. After Muhammad's death in 632, Muslim armies overran Syria, the Holy Land, Egypt, and North Africa from Christians, executed resisters and enslaved Christian women and children. In 711 they conquered Spain, executed resisting men and enslaved women and children. In only about 80 years, nearly three-quarters of Christendom was taken by slaughter and enslavement. But hey, I'm sure it will be different this time.

Instead of calling for the arrest of violent settlers & IDF soldier who detained Americans, former Congresswoman Manning criticizes me for taking a Palestinian led trip to the West Bank. I want to respectfully address this criticism head on because we desperately need more American politicians to take trips like the ones I did. I had been to Israel three times before my trip to Palestine. I had met with PM Bennett and PM Netanyahu. I have met with the families of Oct 7 terrorist attacks, including Jon and Rachel Polin who lost their beloved son Hersh. Can an American politician not take one Palestinian led trip to the occupied territories to learn the facts on the ground? Must every trip be curated through the Israel government or pro Israel advocacy groups? Will any trip that is through the lens of Palestinian eyes be dismissed as a stunt? What is most surprising to me is Congresswoman Manning dismisses my experience of being seen first as Brown and second as an American in the West Bank. I have never felt personally such an acute sting of race in America. When traveling in Palestine with a small group of others who were White, I was singled out and asked my faith. I was subject to longer interrogations at checkpoints. I was laughed at and mocked by violent settlers. And I saw firsthand the IDF taking the side of violent settlers much like the police forces sided with segregationists in the Jim Crow South. I am not nearly as eloquent as Ta-Nehisi Coates. But any person of color will feel how he or I did if they visit the occupied territories for even 24 hours. What is happening in Palestine is a betrayal of Judaism or the ideals of Israel. I wish Congresswoman Manning and others who love Israel would open their eyes and help work to redeem the soul of the nation they love by ending the oppression.
