Well as I recover from yet another surgery think it’s worth talking about mental health and participation in the market. The buildup/dread of this procedure has weighed on me and as a precaution I personally traded much less this week. I sort of have a few things going against me for mental health (haven’t been able to work out - physical health is big for me) and I know all too well how this can play into market interactions. Instead of pretending everything is normal, be honest with your self when your home life isn’t good, a negative personal event happens etc. and reduce your market activity. Goes without saying this in tandem with current market environment is key to preserving financial and mental capital. I still am observing, building screen time and sharpening the analysis side of things while I get back to a more normal for myself. Hope this helps at least one person out there going through something, wish you all the best.

@Rothmus This is foolish, they've always done the same things. The phone just gives them more control, a direct link to young impressionable youth who are easily swayed, an electronic dog leash. A social media cattle prod to force them in their chutes. Sad.

The comment section is golden, sure destroy the entire country. Nuke it. Then watch the same economic result as we print trillions to rebuild it, or more appropriately line the pockets of politicians.

The convergence of LLMs and real-time market data is the part of the AI trade most people haven't priced in yet. Everyone's focused on chatbots and content generation while the actual alpha is in structured data pipelines that let models reason over live flows.
