Man, I hate NIMBYs






72 people died in Grenfell Tower in a horrific way bc it had a single staircase. Staircase was on fire so people couldn’t escape. The “American fire safety officials” who have some concerns strike me as rational.


If we could completely ensure that cutting a staircase would be paired with other fire safety measures I’d buy it could be safe in some instances but how do we trust that when developers aren’t held to the law or their promises at all. They almost never even get fined
