@ericlim1975 @jeffrey_vinocur @michccds 6 yr old malignant long QT. 5 siblings, all died suddenly less than 15 years old. Standard icd system. Small sternotomy to place standard endocardial coil substernally with 2 epicardial pacing lead. Std ICD left lateral DFT successful at 15J.

@jeffrey_vinocur @michccds 6/ ... long term, I think this coil will eventually fracture and may have other described complications, so have to hope she is big enough to transition to a TV-ICD at that point, and then either abandon or extract the lead with an open heart procedure.
