Quick timeline of the takes surrounding Lakers-Rockets, with a prediction on tomorrow’s. April 17th: “The Lakers have NO chance. They’ll be lucky not to be swept.” April 20th: “If LeBron pulls this off I’ll call him the GOAT.” April 22nd: “The Rockets are frauds!” April 25th: “The Rockets are the dumbest team I’ve ever seen! Anyone would beat them!” April 30th: “The Lakers are cooked & LeBron is exhausted. Rockets in 7.” May 1st: “LeBron is going to blow a 3-0 lead & his GOAT case is over!” May 2nd: “Yeah, the Lakers won, but it’s actually not that impressive, the Rockets were pretenders.”

@InTrumpWeTrustt @jasonrmcintyre Use it as a Crutch? That's what you got out of that video? It's not about how they are raised or view themselves it's about how others treat them!!

@jasonrmcintyre I have two bi racial children and they live and go to school with predominantly white people. It’s also how you raise them. Don’t ever let them use their ethnic background as a crutch in life.

I’ll admit, when I was a kid in the 90s I definitely thought that Kid Rock would have less direct involvement with military operations

@RealSkipBayless I understand that you support Vanderbilt. His nasty attitude, and a short size is what scared NFL teams

I realize his off-field has caused some concerns, but Diego Pavia deserved better than a minicamp tryout with the Ravens. He did lead the Vanderbilt Commodores to a 6-2 SEC record, did beat Bama the season before, did scare Texas twice.

@the_abduco @PolymarketBlitz That wouldn't surprise me it happens all the time. Simpson is actually going to a good team with good ownership and coaching. Mendoza is going to a team that had the number one draft pick for a reason. They were bad.

Ty Simpson: "We are going to make history coach." Sean McVay: "Yea, no, enjoy this one tonight and we will get to work." McVay later confirmed he will compete with Stetson Bennett for the backup role.

Diego Pavia told Jon Gruden on April 7th: “I’m representing myself—I didn’t think it was fair that someone was going to represent me and take 5-10%—ain’t nobody taking my money” #NFLDraft

No, Diego Pavia isn't a disaster—he had a standout career at Vanderbilt as a tough, mobile dual-threat QB, racking up big production and finishing as a Heisman finalist/runner-up. He went undrafted because scouts saw him as undersized (~5'10", 207 lbs) with average arm talent, not the elite prototype NFL teams want at QB. His success leaned on college-style improvisation and grit rather than pocket-passing traits. He'll likely sign as a UDFA and compete in camp.
