@Melt_Dem this was very explicitly formulated by Nick Land in the 90's (Machinic Desire etc, not an endorsement) and has been pretty widely understood for decades

increasingly convinced that capitalism is the original AGI as it has created order from disorder in our world and directed human activity and societal preferences for several hundred years now current models are just loose scaffolding around existing socioeconomic concepts

does anyone remember a pre-BTC digital cash project that was based on integer lattices, circa ~2002-2003? no evidence of this existing at all but I think I have a key that signed an early account, please hit me up if you remember even anything close to this (announced on usenet)

it's not hashcash or anything simple like that, totally different line of thinking

was not on cypherpunks, was probably on sci.crypt or alt-something, had a strong "buried treasure but you computationally cannot find it" narrative, never got traction b/c no viable mining = no incentive to run a node
