As soon as we crossed Panvel we were served breakfast Quite a sumptuous fare There were choco flakes, (not a fan of processed food), frooti (find the taste synthetic) , a sandwich with filling of butter and grated carrot(you can't make carrot great 😜), a layered chocolate cake (chintu brand), one banana and hot milk (to go with the flakes) They offered a choice of cutlets and upma I opted for cutlets. They came back for a second round of upma. My neighbour who had earlier opted for upma opined that it was not so nice Cutlets tasted very good and they were hot too So relished them The chococake package was thrice the size of the tiny product They might have spent more on the laminate than the cake 🍰 Overall it's a good breakfast with a combination of packaged and fresh food

SAY IT WITH A SANDWICH Whenever I fly IndiGo, I’ve started returning the sandwich as a small act of protest against taking customers for granted, shoddy service, the complacency that comes with near monopoly, and food that’s firmly middling. I don’t know if anyone even notices the returned sandwiches. But if hundreds of flyers did the same, it could become a quiet, unmistakable signal. Silent, civil, and impossible to ignore. This isn’t really about the food. It’s about the flyer who’s been sandwiched between choicelessness and mediocrity, and deserves better.
