Year 6 had an unforgettable time on their residential trip to Hilltop Outdoor Centre in Norfolk. Highlights included the zip wire, mountain biking, a hike along the cliffs for ice cream, and the thrilling tree-top high ropes course.

The Mayor was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Cllr Luke Mackenzie, Mayor of Basildon. He sends his condolences and sympathy to his family, friends and colleagues at this challenging time.

The Borough Flag is flying at half mast following the passing of Alderman Alan Davies, past Mayor of Brentwood, former councillor, former Officer and long time champion of our community. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
