Until 2010, the G went all the way to Forest Hills. Now you need to take three different trains just to get from Astoria to Greenpoint. The MTA should restore this essential service.












The IBX was initially envisioned by the @RegionalPlan as part of a grand regional rail network for the Tri-State. The current plan will be useful for Brooklyn and Queens, but nowhere beyond. With a few complimentary transit projects, the IBX can live up to its original promise:
