If you build the trails first, the rail will never come. The only north south mass transit corridor in Queens will be gone forever. Our roads will continue to get more congested and parking more challenging. Queens let’s not blow this!

@JustinBrannan @RonCarterBass The next time I auditioned Ron Carter had retired and was replaced by John Patitucci. I was sick during my audition and in the middle of playing I coughed and the cough drop flew out of my mouth. I was so embarrassed, but John being so sweet said “it’s OK,“ and I continued. 🤦🏻

@Aurelimocaris queenslink running the M is a bad idea, just complicates QBL service more. should be a dedicated line that takes over the Rockaway Branch. you wouldn't really free up much capacity anyway, it's only like three stops from Rego Park to FH.

Until 2010, the G went all the way to Forest Hills. Now you need to take three different trains just to get from Astoria to Greenpoint. The MTA should restore this essential service.

@urbenschneider If the M shoots down at 63rd instead of terminating at Forest Hills, which is a pinch point that decreases the capacity of the QBlvd local line. Shoot the m south, you can run more trains along the route, enough to allow for the return of the G.

The IBX was initially envisioned by the @RegionalPlan as part of a grand regional rail network for the Tri-State. The current plan will be useful for Brooklyn and Queens, but nowhere beyond. With a few complimentary transit projects, the IBX can live up to its original promise:
