How much money do you spend on AI subscriptions? I'm at 20 USD a month but I feel like a lot of developers spend way more than that.

@forgebitz The idea that companies will do everything successfully now because they can build everything is kinda silly Because some companies could already do that before, but didnt

@forgebitz Apple had 90 billion in cash back in 2020 Before AI Sure development was a bit more expensive but they could have copied any company Yet they still chose to focus

remember when chatgpt replaced n8n doing everything is very hard and will consume most companies

@forgebitz Xerox is still around and 90% of what they do is copy....

copying is the final stage of a dying startup as soon as you see them copy your landing page they start copying features every month, they get more behind, lose more clients and slowly churn eats them away products are shaped by market demand, eventually things end up similar, but you can always filter out the copycats

good example of when the "sabotage" name feels...less than ideal. here's my family medical app (keptwell.org) in the app store and seeing the word "sabotage" sprinkled throughout doesn't exactly convey safety.

@pbertrand_dev @levelsio problem is codex rocks at everything but frontend so there’s always some patchwork left, but it’s generally great cursor is great as well if you prefer in-editor

If Claude Code keeps being slow like this while I pay $200/mo (and they don't let me pay more) They will essentially force me to leave to Codex and I don't want to But it's soooooo slooooooooooooowwwww

our personal use case is building a bot to run internal workflows this use case i understand but the one i understand less is having an end user spawn an agent on your product the reason i don't understand this is because i've never encountered it as a user

i'm working on some sdk design for v2 what i keep coming back to is not fully understanding one segment of the usecase every infra company is prepping for "millions of agents to run on us" are you working on a product that needs this? tell me more

There is no point in complaining about the algorithm. It is no different from meeting a group of friends and getting upset that nobody notices you or that the conversation is boring. You either: 1. Leave. 2. Change the conversation. 3. Pay attention to what people actually care about. Complaining might even give you the desired attention short term, but long term building on that is a dead end.

@DmytroKrasun people love to blame outside influences for their lack of success it reminds me of playing dota. people would complain all the time that the got teamed up with noobs/morons so they couldnt improve their rating
