♻️ Mapping India’s Textile Waste Value Chain
India generates 70.73 lakh tonnes of textile waste every year, with strong potential to turn waste into opportunity. With a 70%+ recovery rate, growing recycling ecosystems, and clusters like Panipat emerging as global hubs, the sector is paving the way for a circular and sustainable textile economy.
By 2030, the textile recycling sector is projected to reach $3.5 billion and create ~1 lakh green jobs, while supporting livelihoods across informal recycling networks.
A step forward towards sustainability, circularity, and responsible textiles.
