It is with tremendous sadness that our family learned today that my beloved wife, Tara Baran, has passed away.
We thank Ottawa Police, OPP Kemptville and OPP Parry Sound for all of their efforts.
Please pray for her, for our children, and for all those living with mental health struggles. My thanks to the many who have reached out. We ask for privacy as we mourn as a family. 🙏☦️

@RoboRobbins My current dream would be for the city to ban access to Lansdowne from bank on game day and force everyone to come into Lansdowne by Queen Elizabeth. Hopefully that would speed up the buses enough that more people would take them...

@pejthomas Omg yes. Game days, as well as for the dozen or so highrises going up around 417 and Riverside, and eventually on Bank itself.
Scaling up the bus service along Bank St to accomodate is not enough and competes with existing road availability which is largely saturated.

@pejthomas I had no idea Tom was even missing. I was e-mailed a few days ago by somebody inviting me to his funeral. I am so heartbroken to hear this. I was speaking to him in the fall after I was going through a tough time. I'm quite shattered by this news.
