app2web is obvious when you do the actual math. an app doing $1m arr through in-app purchase nets $700k. the same app doing $1m through app2web (5% processor fees + apple's external link reporting) nets $950k. that's $250k of pure margin on the exact same revenue. setup is roughly 2 weeks of engineering plus a stripe or paddle account. the friction is signing the user in via web for their first purchase. the math wins anyway for any app over ~$200k arr. the founders winning at this aren't tweeting about it. they shipped the link, instrumented the conversion drop on the web jump, and quietly recovered the rest with deep links. the loudest people on twitter about external payments are usually the ones who haven't moved a dollar off iap yet. if you're under $200k arr, stay on iap and ship. if you're over, the engineering calendar pays itself back in the first month.

@zzwitz With probably at least a 15% drop in conversions

some things, like the perfect nutrition of an egg, or a beautiful sunset, and you’re like “how could God not exist?” other things, like the design of the rotator cuff, and you’re like “there is no intelligent creator” long overdue surgery today, counting the months before i can 🏄🏼‍♂️ again.

@StefanGeorgi Amazing work Stefan. This is the first time i've seen well done 60 second ads in 1 prompt, with caption editor and music. Built perfectly for DR

I don't think people realize how easy it is to make AI Video Creatives now. Tool is insane. Vid yesterday showed the output, this one shows the process.🤯

Claude Code + ChatGPT Images 2.0 is f*cking cracked 🤯 I rebuilt my static ad system inside Claude Code on the new ChatGPT Images 2.0 model. One brand name + one URL = 40 production-ready static ads. All inside Claude Code. Perfect for DTC brands and agencies who need high-volume ad creative without briefing a designer or spending hours in Canva. If you're finding winning ad concepts on Meta and manually recreating them one at a time — copying prompts, pasting product details, tweaking aspect ratios, downloading, organizing... This system eliminates the entire loop: → Give Claude a brand name and URL → It researches the brand's fonts, colors, packaging, and photography style → Builds a Brand DNA document from scratch → Fills in 40 proven ad templates (headline, us vs them, testimonial, UGC, review cards, stat callouts) with brand-specific details → Fires every prompt to ChatGPT Images 2.0 with your product photos as reference → Downloads finished ads into organized folders with an HTML gallery No manual prompt filling. No Canva templates. No copy-pasting between tools. What you get: → 40 ad formats filled with your exact brand colors, fonts, and copy → Text that actually renders correctly (the new model handles dense copy, logos, and multi-language callouts cleanly) → Product photos passed as reference so the model matches your real packaging → A reusable system — new brand, new folder, same pipeline Built 100% in Claude Code with ChatGPT Images 2.0. I put together a DIY playbook showing the exact architecture so you can build this yourself in Claude Code. Want it for free? > Like this post > Comment "CHAT" And I'll send it over (must be following so I can DM)

@omgsidewalks within 3 months of making friends with 5 people who were making $1k/day on Native Advertising and talking to them weekly. I hit my first $1k/day. This happened after 4 years of failure. So "Surround yourself with positive people"

@flyosity @theo I couldn't care less. I'm building the dopest shit on the planet right now inside of Claude, and couldn't be happier with the new desktop OpenAI. Quite frankly, not only do I not trust them, but I don't even support anything that they're about.

Just watched @theo torch the latest Claude Desktop app after finding tons of UI bugs, and I'm going to tell you why Codex's app is better It's because OpenAI hired the *best of the best* Mac and iOS developers our industry has and Anthropic didn't Human expertise matters
Theo - t3.gg@theo

The Claude Code Desktop app is an affront on software. As developers, we should be offended that they chose to ship something this awful. Rushed out my video because I feel like I'm going insane.

There's 2 big reasons A) Youtube ads are big dead because everyone with money pays for ad free premium. You can only market to broke people on it. B) Googles GDN network is HORRIBLE, the traffic is big terrible. Facebook is the only ad platform that lets you -Run ads to people that have money -Actually has good targeting Tik Tok is the runner up, but doesn't have boomers/people with an IQ about 50 on it.

Meta just became the world's largest ad business. EllioTrades thinks Meta dethroning Google is entirely because of AI slop. "Your ability to make entertaining ads that convert, while targeting people on Facebook with AI slop, is worth way more than targeting people on Google."

Joel Osteen says he doesn’t buy expensive things, just owns a “nice” house “No, nothing like that. I have a nice house here that we built, but I made that money through real estate. I’ve got a pool, a workout room, and about two acres of land”

This founder-led ad we scripted is the top-spender in the ad account for the last 3 months. It is undeniably the best ad we’ve created recently. It combines so many different elements of what we’ve seen work in the last 12 months after having spent over $40M on Meta ads. We’re not selling a hairbrush, we’re selling an emotional story that the viewer needs to be part of. The single most powerful choice we’ve made here is to tell the story from the POV of the husband and the co-founder of the brand. His empathy for the struggles of his wife make the ad feel like a love letter, not a promotion. Of course, the ad follows the typical hero’s journey: - a struggle, - a turning point, - a victory, which is a narrative so deeply ingrained into the consumer's mindset by every Western movie that keeps the viewer glued to the screen expecting to see the ending of the story. There is also a seamless integration of direct-response marketing principles: - selling against the competition, - introducing a unique mechanism, - social proof, - risk reversal, - etc. The whole ad is meant to look like something people would watch on their organic feed but with elements that would make them relate to the problem, understand why everything else on the market fails, and push them to take action now. Props to Kasper, who recorded the perfect voiceover for this video. Of course, you are not seeing the full ad but you get the point.
