@michaelgeller @JasJohalBC @cbcnewsbc @VancouverSun Historically these two companies have dominated the healthcare facility construction space. Part of the reason for this is they are among the very few large builders who consistently ‘qualify’ for big projects.

I'm told one reason BC hospital construction costs are rising so significantly is because only two construction firms are qualified/capable to successively bid on the projects. Ellis Don and PCL. Hopefully someone can investigate this. @JasJohalBC, @cbcnewsbc , @vancouversun

On Monday a good 1 FSR townhouse project was defeated at First Reading by @WestVanDistrict Council. The architect & applicant were not even allowed to present. Meanwhile at DNV I was given 3 minutes to present a proposal. These procedures are unfair. Changes are needed @Dave_Eby
