Mark Cuban watching AI repeat the exact same pattern as dot com bubble: "if there's a price performance curve on AI that minimizes the power requirements there's going to be a lot of data centers that are going to be turned into pickleball courts" this is him explaining why he thinks most VCs and funds are about to get wiped out, why CEOs have no idea what's coming, and what the dot-com bubble taught him about what happens when everyone prices to perfection "it's not the traditional dot-com bubble - but it could just destroy a lot of VCs and a lot of funds and a lot of PE - because they're going all in" "CEOs have no clue what is going on with AI - none whatsoever - and that's not going to change" "every single business plan ever written in the history of business plans is wrong" bookmark & watch the full conversation ↓

It's rumored that $AMD might announce a deal with Anthropic soon, and this wouldn't be surprising whatsoever. Hyper scalers and labs have consistently been diversifying away from Nvidia when possible through AMD and custom chips. Anthropic is no exception to this. What will be interesting is if AMD has to give away equity like they did with the $META and OAI deals. That could be a huge clue as to what the demand for AMD actually looks like. But overall, it's bullish that a third major player is interested in AMD.

Interesting report from @theinformation that Nvidia will be able to make 1000 Vera Rubin racks per day, which is $630b per quarter. Actually a little hard for me to believe and haven’t checked the math, but wow if true. And Vera CPU racks and Groq LPU racks would be incremental to this. As would their new business model where they take a revenue share of neocloud revenue in return for guaranteeing offtake. I do think the latter point has not been well explored by analysts and is likely to be super important going forward.

I would close short positions here.

I have now learned that a graph is people trying to steal Claude dynamic workflows and claim it as a unique idea to seem special on the internet And I can’t think any less of these people, truly And you can use it by typing “use a workflow” and hitting enter

$AMD has added $MSFT as another major AI customer. At the center of the deal is the deployment of the Helios rackscale platform shipping later this year, which contains MI455x GPUs and EPYC Venice CPUS. Clearly Lisa Su wasn't lying when she said that demand for this upcoming series of chips continued to exceed expectations. Thanks in large part to Helios. Looks like $AMD still has a long way to go...

how did a third place consolation match end up being the craziest game of the 2026 World Cup? if this had been the final, the entire European continent would melt

Congratulations to Zhilin Yang, founder and CEO of @Kimi_Moonshot, on the latest Kimi release. What a huge win for the open-source community! It feels like just yesterday Zhilin was graduating from my lab at CMU, jointly co-advised with William Cohen. Not only did he complete his Ph.D. in just four years, but he also made truly fundamental contributions to ML during his time at CMU. What a spectacular career! Congrats again Zhilin, and thank you and the entire Kimi team for everything you're doing for the open-source community.
