Hundreds of workers at Algoma Steel in Sault Ste. Marie have lost their jobs because of U.S. tariffs & rising costs of taxes on steel making.
Is this the rupture Mark Carney is talking about? What is his plan to reverse it?
Overseas speeches, promises, illusions, and excuses will not put paycheques in pockets or food on the tables of these workers.

I could have taken government handouts but that would have been morally wrong and only add to the economic nightmare we face today.
